When the skillet arrived, it was wonderfully packed, and I was amazed how light the skillet was. When I though of ceramic cookware, I thought this would be heavy. And it is not as heavy as I thought it would be.  I am easily able to handle the pan in one hand.

I love to cook whenever I get the chance, as a working mom it can be hard to cook as much as I like. I can admit it, I am a messy cook. I love to cook, but I am a bit haphazard in the kitchen. Something I’m not very good at is cooking eggs, I do it when called upon but mostly I just leave it up to my husband to make eggs for us. For some reason I can’t quite get eggs right, I try and think they might be good only to be told by my daughter that my eggs stink. When I was given the opportunity to try a pan from Xtrema which says it’s great for cooking my breakfast favorites I was intrigued. Could it have been my pan all along? Am I really a terrific cooker of eggs? I was excited to try it to find out.

The pan itself is 9”, non–stick and flared on the sides, and sells for $99.99. It really looks like the perfect omelet pan. I surprised my husband with breakfast for dinner the other night when I told him that he didn’t seem too enthused but once he saw the eggs he perked up. The eggs cooked quickly and evenly, I noticed the pan had even heat, I didn’t notice any hot spots and the non-stick is really good my eggs were moving around the pan and not sticking what so ever.

I was very impressed with this skillet the eggs came out fluffy and were not burnt, I can count on one hand how many times I made eggs that weren’t burnt…..make that count on one finger.

The Xtrema pan is a great pan for not only breakfast items but for general cooking as well, I’ve made chicken and sausage in this pan as well and this is looking like a go to pan for me. And cleanup was simple the non-stick is so good that nothing stuck to it and the pan was clean in a matter of seconds. I love this pan, I love the fact I conquered a dish that has always gotten the best of me! Thanks Xtrema for helping me show those eggs who’s boss!

Don't mind the cheese, my family loves cheese!
