Palette Kids Studio with Pop Artist Perry Milou

 Palette Kids Studio
116 S. 19th Street, 3rd Floor
Philadelphia, PA 19103

Last weekend my daughter was very fortunate to take a class at Palette Kids Studio with Pop Artist Perry Milou

Perry was very down to earth, and friendly. He is an amazing artist, that loves to share his gift. He was very patient with the children, and made sure the children were doing a project that they enjoyed. There were also some other great instructors in the class, so there were plenty of hands on help from the instructors (if the kids needed it).

The studio was an intimate setting and was full of art and supplies, a real artist studio. This was not a stuffy workplace this place was made to let your imagination soar. The children were asked what they wanted to create, it was just about what the kids wanted. It was nice to see instructors who really wanted to help the children, they were there to help you create the masterpiece that you have in mind.

The girls working on their flower vases, when the class was over the 2 girls proclaimed that they we now “best friends” kids are too cute aren’t they?

You could choose to draw, paint, work with clay, paper mache or do an abstract art piece. My daughter made a vase with a flower, made from a reused bottle, and a Styrofoam plate, gems, and paint. My daughter had a wonderful time creating her masterpiece, and made a “best friend” in her class. She had a very nice time, and I would love to send her to this class again, I highly recommend it.

My daughter with her masterpiece!

All of the children in the class, did a great job, and really got to show their creative side. The classes are currently on Saturday 10:30-12:30 – and 1:00-3:00 each class is 2 hours long and costs $40 a class. Or you can buy a block of classes for a reduced price.  No appointment needed, if you would like your child to check out one of these classes just drop by.

They are working on classes for week days as well, I will let you know more information when I get it.
