OVERVIEW:  The entire cast of American Pie returns to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion in the outrageous comedy American Reunion, available on Blu-ray^™ Combo Pack, DVD, and On Demand, with a never-before-seen unrated version, on July 10, 2012 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.  In one long-overdue weekend, old friends will reconnect, old flames re-ignite and everyone will rediscover just how much fun you can pack into one hilarious weekend.

It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity.  In the years that have passed, Jim (Jason Biggs, Life Happens, “Mad Love”) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan, “How I Met Your Mother”) got married while Stifler (Seann William Scott, Role Models) still refuses to grow up. Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas, Please Give) and Vicky (Tara Reid, “Scrubs”) said goodbye while Oz (Chris Klein, American Dreamz) and Heather (Mena Suvari, “American Horror Story”) grew apart.  Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas, “How to Make It in America”) still longs for Stifler’s mom (Jennifer Coolidge, Legally Blonde) and Jim’s dad (Eugene Levy, Best in Show) is learning to date.  The hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend return as American Reunion brings this beloved franchise back with “flat out hilarious, raunchy fun” (Pete Hammond, Box Office Magazine).

 Our Take:

My husband and I are big fans of the America Pie franchise. The original American Pie movie reminds me of the days when my husband and I were dating (yes that was so very long ago!) so when we had the chance to watch the latest installment American Reunion, my husband and I could not wait for a “date night” we put my daughter to sleep (this is not little kid friendly that is for sure,…) and got some popcorn popped and got reedy to laugh.

This movie got all of the cast back, yes all of your favorites from Stiffler, to the Sherminator, they are all back. Even the smaller characters you may have forgotten, they are all back for this ultimate reunion. There was one scene with Stiffler on the beach with a cooler, that is all I will tell you, but you must see this movie, I nearly choked on my soda I was laughing that much with this scene alone. This was my favorite of all of the sequels in the pie series, and I would highly recommend this movie for a pie lover, or someone who just loves a movie that will make you laugh out loud! My hubby was also a big fan, and said how much better this was than #3, and #4 they just stepped up their game and made a crazy funny movie.

This movie is available on Blu-Ray and DVD today July 9^th, make sure to pick it up this is the best slice of pie yet, and I am sure you will agree with my husband and I and you will love it.
