PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits, and free app!

Heinz Vinegar and PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits have partnered to bring you the Easter Egg Decorator app, available both online via desktop or laptop computer and through the iTunes App Store.  The "Egg Decorator" is an iPad app that allows you to decorate Easter eggs with just the touch of your finger.
Families choose the color of the eggs, the decorations, and go through the motions of pouring the vinegar and dropping in the color tablet  just like the real thing. Doesn’t that sound cool? But the coolest thing is that, now through March 31, when you decorate and share a virtual Easter egg with family and friends using the free app, Heinz and PAAS will donate $1, up to $25,000, to Make-A-Wish®.  That is just awesome!

My daughter could not wait to check out this great free app, all of the egg dyeing fun without all of the mess. My daughter made egg after egg, I have to admit it was fun, and I felt great that each egg we shared a $1.00 was donated it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside having fun for a great cause is a wonderful thing.

But that is not all of course the virtual egg app is great, and fun something you can do in the car or at a restaurant we also has the chance to check out some of the new PAAS kits!

Every year, Americans dye and decorate more than 180 million eggs during the Easter season. PAAS, favorite for Easter egg decorating in our household, now  has seven new egg decorating kits, including Volcano Eggsplosion, a kit that uses melted crayon shavings to provide instant color and Touch of Velvet, a kit that uses double stick adhesives and flocking powder to create fun, fuzzy shapes on your Easter creations. These are not something that can be brought out on the road like the app, but they are so much fun very hands on.

Here are a few tips for great colored eggs from Heinz and PAAS:
For the brightest, most vivid colors, add one tablet and three tablespoons of Heinz Distilled White Vinegar to a PAAS Color Cup or a one-cup container. Once the tablet has dissolved, add ½ cup water and stir gently.

Also, to help keep hard-cooked eggs from cracking, add two tablespoons of Heinz Distilled White Vinegar per quart of water before placing the eggs in the pot. The shells will also peel off faster and easier when they’re done.

My daughter and I had a blast coloring eggs, sure it got a little messy … but we were sure colorful! And I love doing art projects with my daughter, it is some great bonding time and we always laugh and laugh. The new kit, Volcano Eggsplosion was amazing! The best Easter egg dyeing kit U have ever used, the eggs were so cool and unique! My daughter loved decorating them, and making them with her own style.

So make sure to tell all of your friends and family about this great free app, make as many eggs and share as many as you can. The donation of $1.00 an egg will add up quickly, and I would love to get as much money as possible sent to Make-A-Wish®.   The $25,000 maximum would be great to achieve, please share share share!  And when shopping for Easter egg dying kits this year make sure to pick up one of the new PAAS kits, you will love it as much as the kids do. And for vibrant eggs don’t forget the Heinz vinegar, your eggs will turn out to be the best eggs yet!

Perfect time for the egg tips. I will be handling more eggs soon with the kids.

I can't use the app, but really good information!

P.s not sure, but all I can think of is the word egginator from Phineas and Pherb. Haha. I'm weird eh.

Apps are fun, but nothing like the real thing. Families are losing the hands on experiences far too quick. I cannot wait to make eggies with the family.

I think it's completely cool that we can now say "dying eggs? There's an app for that!" This is going to make egg dying this year so much more fun.
