Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars 'High Tea' Party #CadburyHighTea

It has been a scorcher of a July here in the Northeast, and to cool down and have some fun we recently had a Cadbury High Tea party, and a pool party on the same day. I figured it would be such a fun time, a tea party and a pool party on the same day? A party with my eight year old daughter and her friends, sure why not? Sounds like a fun day.  I was sent a variety of Cadbury Ice cream Bars to help us cool down during our party.  We could not wait to invite some of my daughters friends and her cousins to a high tea party!

First up would be the more refined part of the party,  the little more dressy fun tea party. I figured the girls would enjoy dressing up and relaxing, before going in the pool. We all enjoyed getting gussied up with our fancy hats and we were ready to enjoy some delicious tea while using our nice tea set.  The girls just loved the hats. They said they felt like southern bells, very refined and polished with their fancy dress hats on.
Even my daughters doll Caroline, got in on the act, she loved the hats as well!
We had a nice tea party with hot tea for the adults and iced tea, or apple juice for the kids. The kids of course loved playing with the tea set, and playing like grownups. One lump or two for your tea mam?

Of course what is a tea party without some cake, I made a vanilla peach cake that was loved by all and it went well with the tea.  After the our high tea portion of the party, it was time for the pool party ice cream party.

The girls squealed in delight when they heard about the ice cream bars, of course they did… Kids love ice cream, well our kids sure do.
Here is a photo of 2 of the girls thoroughly enjoying their ice cream bars. Sure they are a little messy, but it was so very good! And it was 90++ degrees out at the time, so they could not help it much.  It was a bit messy… messy but delicious.
    • Cadbury™ Caramello™: Creamy Blue Bunny® vanilla ice cream is swirled with caramel sauce and dipped in rich, creamy Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
    • Cadbury™ Double Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny® chocolate ice cream is dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
    • Cadbury™ Vanilla Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny ® vanilla ice cream is dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
    • Cadbury™ Chocolate Almond: Creamy Blue Bunny® vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with almond pieces.

We all loved the ice cream bars, they were covered in thick delicious chocolate. The covering was much more thick, and yummier than other ice cream bars I have had in the past, past bars are coated with a super thin shell, but not with Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars the chocolate is there and you can see and taste the richness. More chocolate is always a good thing, and when it is high quality Cadbury™ chocolate, that is even better. The flavored bars were a crowd favorite, the toffee and the caramel bars were my favorite. The other guests loved the dark, and some the milk chocolate there was a flavor for everyone!

We all had a blast at the party, we had the best of both worlds, dress up fun, and dress down messy fun! Either way it was a great party.  I will surely be picking up more Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars in the future, for my family. They all loved the bars, and I have to admit these bars were the best ice cream bars I have ever had… ever! Now that is impressive.

So if you are looking for a sweet rich chocolate cold treat this summer look no further than Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars by Blue Bunny. You will not be disappointed, you will have the great Blue Bunny ice cream quality and the rich deliciousness of Cadbury™ you just can’t go wrong with that combination.  There is nothing better than a great ice cream bar for a quick cool down on a summer day!
