Yummy Old Time Candy, have a sweeter day with candy from your past #Giveaway

Are you a candy fan? A fan of candies from your past, things you loved as  a kid and still love today? Well I have a site to introduce you all to that you are going to just adore! Old Time Candy, they have all of your favorite candies, and some you may have not seen for years! Here is a little more information about Old Time Candy from the website:

Old fashioned candy from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, still available after all these years! You are never too old for a childhood memory.

The mission of the Old Time Candy Company is to provide childhood candy memories in such a way that it glorifies God and His plan for our lives. Our goal for every candy order is that it results in a “delighted customer.” Do you remember Wax Lips, Ice Cube Chocolates, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Candy Cigarettes, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Wax Syrup Bottles, Sky Bars, Zagnut, Necco Wafers, Teaberry Gum or Chick-o-Sticks?  At the Old Time Candy Company we have over 650 different fresh candies. Choose Candy you ate as a kid® Decade Assortments or pack your own assortment on our Pack-a-Bag page. How about a whole box of Goo Goo Clusters or a bulk bag of Walnettos? Walk the candy aisles at http://OldTimeCandy.com/. Go ahead, take your time and you will see many candies you ate as a kid.
I don't like to think I'm old, but every once and a while I realize that a song I'm listening to is more than 20 years old and all of a sudden I realize that I'm no longer a teenager! My husband jokes and says I'm old and I say you're older than me so what does that make you?! And his response is distinguished! Ugh..... But there is something we like to reminisce about and the is the candy we grew up eating. Who doesn't like candy? Old Time Candy had us on a trip down memory lane with a All Decade 4 pound assortment of candy. A 4 pound box of candy!! I had to check the calendar again to make sure it wasn't October!
Once I opened the box we were in awe of all the sugary goodness that was staring us in the face. I opted for the All Decade assortment to get a good mix of candy but if I could only pick a specific decade it would have been the 80s since that's when I grew up. And since my husband has never officially grown up he's open to everything so the All Decade box was a good choice for us.
Here is what the box contained: Airheads, Atomic Fire Balls, BB Bats, Bit-O-Honey, Black Jack Taffy, Blow Pops, Boston Baked Beans, Maple Bun, Butterfingers, Butterscotch Disks, Candy Buttons on paper tape, Candy Cigarettes, Candy Necklace, Caramel Creams (Bull's Eyes), Charleston Chew, Cherry Mash, Chick-o-Stick, Chiclets, Chuckles, Cinnamon Bears, Dots, Dubble Bubble Gum, Fizzies Drink Tablets, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Gummi Hot Dog, Hot Dog Bubble Gum, Jawbreakers, Jelly Nougats, Jujubes, Junior Mints, Kits Taffy, Laffy Taffy, Lemonheads, Life Savers, Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip, Marshmallow Ice Cream Cones, Necco Wafers, Now & Laters, Oh Henry, Pay Day, Peanut Butter Bars, Pixy Stix, Planter's Peanut Bars, Pop Rocks, Razzles, Red Hots, Root Beer Barrels, Saf-T-Pops, Sixlets, Sky Bar, Smarties, Sour Fruit Balls, Peppermint Stick, Sugar Daddy, Swedish Fish, Sweetarts, Teaberry Gum, Tootsie Pops, Tootsie Rolls, Warheads, Wax Bottles (Nik-L-Nips), Wax Lips, Zagnut, Zero and Zotz Sours.
It really was like Halloween and we were all grabbing for certain candy and stopping and remembering buying things as kids such as the wax lips....to this day I still don't get them but I was happy to see them!
We were able to share with our daughter candy that we loved and that she's never had the chance to try like Nik-L-Lips. They are wax bottles with flavored liquid in them and they were and still are fun to eat. I would pop the top off and squeeze the liquid out. My husband on the other hand popped the whole bottle in his mouth and chewed it like gum. Our daughter used a hybrid version by first squeezing it out but then going to the chew method. From pre 1920s to the 1980s Old Time Candy has a candy for every decade and the candy for you.

Seeing the candy cigarettes reminded me.....I learned all the adults when I was a child were wrong. Candy cigarettes are not a gateway drug to smoking. They were my favorite, yet I never became a real smoker when I grew up.
