For my money chocolate doesn’t get any better than Hershey’s and once you pair it with Reese’s peanut butter you have the perfect candy ever invented. Whopper’s, Milk Duds, Reese’s, Kit-Kat and Hersey’s bars my candy collection is candy nirvana. Even though I live with the Halloween Scrooge (my husband) who would gladly live in the house the kids avoid we live in the house that the kids come to! Why is that? Because I refuse to give our inferior candy and ruin their Halloween.
I have always loved Halloween ever since I was a child. I can remember how I anxiously counted down the days until Halloween when I was a child, well I have to admit I still count down the days until Halloween each year. It is just such a fun time of year, from going all out and decorating my house inside and out. My daughter is taking after me with her love of Halloween. When the delicious Hershey candy arrived, my daughter nearly exploded with excitement. Sorry, you can not eat all of this candy it is for the trick or treaters! But of course we had to try some. Our favorite was the new (well new to us) pumpkin spice Hershey Kisses. It had a great spicy pumpkin flavor, it was creamy and yummy.
We were also big fans of the new orange Kit Kats, no they were not orange flavored just colored orange for the holiday.
But what is the best part about Halloween is trick or treating of course! I remember walking all around our neighborhoods and getting tons of candy. One of the perks of living in Philadelphia during Halloween time is most of the houses (well all where I live) are row homes so there is not much walking needed to get from house to house to trick or treat. But kids want good candy, when I was little I hated getting loose candy corn in my Halloween bag.
And these days loose candy is a no no so they have come up with bagged candy corn, no offense to candy corn but to me that is not good candy. What I would love to get is York, Reese and Jolly Rancher candies from Hershey. That is what we are giving out this year! And I am sure I will get a lot of appreciative trick or treaters because they will love the Hershey goodness!
Along with great candy Hershey had a great website up this year HERSHEY'SHALLOWEEN BOO BLVD, the site is filled with decoration idea, party ideas, costume ideas, recipes and more! Here are some of my favorites:

- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned; remove from oven. Cool slightly; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. About 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
When you are out Shopping for your Halloween candy this year make sure to pick up a bag (or two) of Hershey's candy, they kids will love it. We loved the fun new flavors and Halloween shapes and I am sure the neighborhood kids will love our house this year.
