Holiday Gift Guide: My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas DVD #Giveaway

Is your little girl a fan of My Little Pony? These adorable ponies that I grew up playing are just a popular as ever! They  have a great new holiday dvd, My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas that your My Little Pony fan will just adore! Here is a little more information about this great newly released dvd:

The beacon that draws Santa to Ponyville has been broken, and it's up to Minty and friends to repair it so that Christmas will arrive as scheduled in this family oriented animated holiday film. Minty has broken the "Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane," and without it odds are Santa won't be able to deliver his abundant holiday cheer this year.  The “Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane” is an important part of Ponyville — it’s the beacon that shows jolly old Santa Claus the way to the town as he makes his holiday rounds each year.

But when Minty accidentally breaks it, uh-oh! It looks like Ponyville is destined to have a bleak holiday season. Minty is determined to do anything to save Christmas for her Pony friends while they, in turn, band together to try and cheer up their despondent friend. Together, they all discover that Christmas can come anyway, wrapped in the love of good friends and the oversized heart of one little clumsy, minty-green Pony!  The My Little Pony brand has been beloved for three decades, and is now more popular than ever. My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas is a gift everypony will love!

Our Take:

Part of the fun of Christmas is getting to watch all the classic Christmas shows that we watched as kids and getting to share them with our daughter is something we love to do. Watching the classics are great but we always love adding new movies to the rotation, especially those who are destined to be classics. My family and I were very fortunate to be able to check out a cute family holiday dvd, My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas.
Growing up in the eighties, I have to say I am a bit partial to My Little Pony. I loved my pony’s and I played with them all the time. My Little Pony were always unique, different and I loved that they all had different looks and “personalities”. So needless to say I was looking forward to watching the new dvd.

My three year old niece is just starting to get into My Little Pony, she has  one of the baby ponies and she likes to tote around. We had a movie night the other night and sat down to enjoy this holiday movie. Overall we loved the new dvd. The colors were bright and pretty, the animation was nice and I liked the storyline. Minty is such a sweet character, she is just trying to do her best. I love the message of this dvd, the true meaning of Christmas is not found in packages or a visit from Santa, but in friendship and genuine concern for others. The real meaning of the holidays.
Make sure to check out the trailer:
There is a cute bonus feature, that the little ones will love, a fun Sing-Along. My niece had so much fun trying to sing along, she couldn’t quite get all of the words but it was so cute to watch her sing and have a great time.  Would Minty save Christmas? Will I am not going to spoil it, you will have to pick up the dvd to see yourself. If you are looking for an adorable dvd for the special little girl on your holiday gift list, this My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas DVD will be a gift she will love.  This dvd has a retail cost of $10.00 but it is on sale on Amazon for $6.99. The dvd is cute and affordable, this would make a wonderful stocking stuffer. Make sure to  pick up a copy for that special someone.
