Holiday Gift Guide: Sisters' Gourmet a great place for delicious cookie mixes

Are you a baker? Well I love to bake, but so many of my friends love to eat baked goods but are not that great in the baking department… They try, but it doesn’t not work out as well as they hope, wouldn’t it be great to be able to bake great homemade cookies from a mix that are yummy and easy to make for everyone? Well you are going to love Sisters' Gourmet, a great place for delicious cookie mixes. Here is a little more information about Sisters' Gourmet from the website:

"Good things come to those who bake." The mission of the Sisters' Gourmet is:

To produce high quality gourmet baking mixes that will:
1. Bring families together in the kitchen.
2. Make excellent reasonably priced gifts.
3. Make baking easy for even the most challenged baker
4. Make baking fun

Sisters' Gourmet was founded by Lisa Sorensen and her sister Suzy. It is now owned and operated by Lisa and her husband Rob. They produce gourmet baking mixes which are sold directly to consumers via their website as well as to specialty shops worldwide. Products have been featured in the finest specialty shops and have been selected as some of Oprah's favorite products on her coveted O-list. Everything is produced in a facility 45 minutes NE of Atlanta. All of the layered mixes are packed by hand and use only the best ingredients available.

Tis the season to do some (a lot) of baking. I love to bake and my husband loves to help me. I mainly think he does it to lick the bowl, but I'll take whatever help I can get to make things easy. Speaking of easy baking the Christmas Cookies from Sisters Gourmet are so simple and easy that even those who can't bake will look like a superstar. And the best part the cookies taste like they came from a superstar.
With having a lot to deal with during the holiday season I don't have a lot of extra time to devote to making things that have a million ingredients and a million steps. The cookies from Sisters Gourmet have all the ingredient's minus butter and an egg in a beautifully packaged mason jar, they make a great gift as well as a tasty treat.
We made the cinnamon snow flake cookies this past Sunday, we were able to make 28 cookies they're supposed to yield 36 but my husband rolled some of them a little too big but I can easily see you getting 36 cookies out of the jar. Once all the ingredients were in the bowl we added the egg and butter and mixed well, popped them into the over and 9 minutes later we had some of the most perfect looking cookies I've ever baked.

They're packed nicely and are easy to make but what about their taste? If they're awful who cares about how easy they are to make! Well I can tell you that they taste wonderful! The cinnamon snow flake cookie is a blend of spicy cinnamon chips, sweet white chips and whole grain oats or what my husband typically eats for breakfast in cookie form. He loves oatmeal and cinnamon and the sweet white chips are just an added burst of goodness.

I can't wait to try the other flavors like North Pole Favorites (oats and butterscotch chips), Mrs. Claus Chocolate Chip and Merry Christmint (a chocolate cookie with chocolate chips and mint chips.) If you like to bake but are pressed for time these are your cookies. If you like great tasting cookies these are your cookies.

And if you want to give a great looking gift that tastes great these are your cookies. Sisters Gourmet makes any baker look like a great baker. So if you are looking for a sweet gift idea, that special someone is going to love a treat from Sisters' Gourmet!

I love that the owners are sisters, hence making this a family business. Ready to bake cookie mixes are always a favorite gift each year, and I'm so tempted to by that North Pole favorite mix. Butterscotch cookies are my favorite.
