Let your imagination soar with Playmobile #Giveaway

Are you a fan of Playmobile? The great play sets that let your imagination soar. I grew up on these great sets, and love to share my love of Playmobile with my daughter. If your children love to imagine, explore and come up with great play sets with amazing characters, you are going to love Playmobile too. Here is a little more information about Playmobile from the website:
For more than 35 years, PLAYMOBIL® has been inspiring children to create their own adventures and let their imagination soar. Magnificent, one-of-a-kind themes that stimulate imagination and creativity have earned PLAYMOBIL® numerous international awards. With PLAYMOBIL®, children can explore new concepts about the world, process what they see and stimulate their imagination. The play sets are fun, improve manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination and develop spatial relation skills, initiative as well as socialization skills.

For years the name Playmobil and really cool toys are synonymous in my mind. Ever since I was a little girl I've been fascinated with these wonderful toys, I remember as a girl vacationing with my family in Ocean City, New Jersey going into a shop on the boardwalk (it's still there) and looking at all the Playmobil toys they had for sale. The regular toy stores at home always had Playmobil but this store always had/has sets you'd never get to see in a regular toy store and I would always get lost looking at all the sets and how wonderfully simple yet wonderfully detailed Playmobil was and still is.

For both my husband and I we wanted to pass along our love of Playmobil to our daughter and it started a few years back at a flea market of all places. A seller had several unopened, brand new boxes of Playmobil plays sets for sale and we asked out of curiosity how much he wanted, he gave us a price for all of the sets and it was so low my husband couldn't get the cash out quick enough! That day started our daughters love affair with Playmobil. She combined her veterinarian set with her hunting set and now all the creatures have a place to go when they're sick....she never did let that poor hunter figure do his job!

Moving ahead we received a 40th Anniversary Princess Island Compact Set + Gondola $19.99. and now the Veterinarian now has swans, doves and ducklings to take care of! This is a really nice set of 107 pieces total including 4 (3 Princesses' and a Prince) all sorts of birds, a nice little romantic courtyard with a rose arch and bird bath and or course a gondola.

We were also able to check out an adorable unicorn, Rose Red this set Care Fairy with Unicorn “Rose Red" $13.99 had all you needed for a magical day in the forest with your mythical unicorn friend. My daughter had a great time with these sets, and of course combined them to make and even grander play area.
Playmobil is celebrating 40 years of making wonderful toys, it's something that being in our 30's that we literally grew up with so it's a no brainer that we're passing the tradition of getting lost in a fantasy world or an old west town or a civil war town or a medieval town or a modern city down to our daughter. I've said it countless times here that I love toys that make children use their imaginations and what better way to get lost in your imagination than with the great toys Playmobil has provided us with 40 years?
The generous folks at Playmobile are giving one of Susan’s Disney Family readers a chance to win a Playmobile set, Care Fairy with Unicorn “Rose Red". Would you like to win? I love the Western play world. My son loves horses but it is really hard to find ones that are not clearly marketed to girls in "girl" colors. So this would be awesome for him.
