Seeking a thrill while on vacation? How about flying over alligators and crocodiles? Only at Gatorland #RockYourVacation

*** I received an all-expense paid trip to FL, courtesy of Experience Kissimmee, to experience these great attractions.. My opinions are 100% my own and have not been influenced in any way.***
Gatorland seems to have been a part of Florida for just about forever, it is a great place with the classic gator entry this just reminds me of Florida. Have you ever passed by the big gator, and not stopped inside? Well you have been missing out!  There is so much more to Gatorland these days, sure the gators are still there but now there is ziplining, shows, and more unique animals than ever!
At 110- acres, Gatorland provides affordable-priced family fun with thousands of alligators & crocodiles to see, an aviary, breeding marsh with observation tower, petting zoo, nature walk, award-winning gift shop and one-of-a-kind reptilian shows including the Gator Wrestlin' Show, Gator Jumparoo and the Up-close Encounters Show. Take a ride on the Gatorland Express train and then head on over to Gator Gully Splash Park where kids of all ages can enjoy a good ol' fashion squirtfest!
Don't miss the new rare white alligators on display for a limited engagement at Gatorland's newest exhibit, White Gator Swamp. Featuring four of the world's largest white leucistic alligators known to roam the planet, these giant Ivory colored reptiles are each ten to twelve feet in length and weigh over 800 pounds. Their piercing blue eyes are believed to have the ability to command good fortune to those lucky enough to make eye contact with the blue eyed beauties!

This was my very first visit to Gatorland, and I have to say I was impressed I loved what I saw. Seeing so many gators in one place was very cool, from baby gators to huge gators they were everywhere! I am sure my daughter would have had a blast checking out all of the great animals at this park. My favorite was the world's largest white leucistic alligators.
A white alligator with blue eyes! They were amazing, I had never seen anything like them in my entire life, it was pretty cool. After checking out the animals we were ready to get ziplining!  Gatorland  is home to the world’s tallest, fastest and wildest zipline attraction to race high above giant alligators and crocodiles. For those who may be concerned about being attached to a line way up in the air and flying…
Will the wire hold me, can I fall?  Well no need to worry the folks at Gatorland are very trained, and make sure you are secure and safe at all times. The cord you are ziplining on can hold up to the weight of a truck, so it can hold you. Participants must be at least 37" tall and weigh no more than 275 lbs, and must fit safely into the zip line harnesses.

Ziplining was such an amazing experience, it was like driving really fast in a convertible, you just flew with your hair in the wind, it was great!  There were five lines of fun. After a line or two you got the hang of zipping, and just enjoyed the flying!

If you are in the Orlando area, why not check out Gatorland and have the time of your life on the worlds tallest fastest and wildest zipline attraction to race high above giant alligators and crocodiles, something you will remember for the rest of your life! I will surely be coming back for a visit with the family next time we are in Florida, I am sure my adventure loving family will love the ziplines, and your family will too.

Gatorland is open daily from 10:00AM to 6:00PM (please note- park hours will change to 10:00AM to 5:00PM starting August 17, 2014) for your whole family’s fun and enjoyment, rain or shine. You will appreciate the ample FREE parking and the relaxing absence of lines and crowds. Showtimes for the great animal shows are repeated several times daily and may vary slightly season by season. Oh you are so lucky! I want to go there and see the gators and do the zipline. I know my son would want to do it also, not so much my daughter. What a wonderful place to go for the family. Definitely adding it to my must see list.
