Kitchen Curry Master delivers everything you need, and makes it incredibly simple to cook fresh, authentic Indian food at home.

I love to cook, I love trying new things and exposing my husband and daughter to things that are different. So having the chance to try out the spices I received from Kitchen Curry Master I was excited to get into the kitchen!

This large (and heavy!) set of Indian spices was so much fun to work with. We opened up the set and laid out all of the spices and their spice pots and I kept getting more and more excited to cook with spices I never cooked with before. I love cooking with spices and making food with levels of flavor, and Indian cooking is just that. It's not hot and spicy, it contains a lot of spices but they're flavorful and not necessarily hot.
The spices are kept in their pots and the pots rest inside of a really nice looking brushed steel spice box that looks really nice sitting on the kitchen counter. You'll receive over 2 pounds of spices.....2 pounds! The spices you'll receive are 12 in all, they are: turmeric powder, chili powder, ground cumin and coriander, garam masala, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and mixed spices that feature cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, peppercorns and green cardamom.
I decided to make chicken curry, we had all the ingredients already and so making it was a no brainer. And it was a recipe that used a lot of the spices, so I was able to build levels of flavor, now this is a little bit on the spicy side and depending on how spicy you like it you can dial the heat level up or down depending on your taste. It took about a half hour to prep everything and cooking was an hour so in 90 minutes we had a meal.
I made couscous to go along with it and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed the flavor and I liked that it only took a half hour to prep so it's something I can do when I get home from work and have on the table only an hour later. I was so excited to cook this meal and I'm even more excited about cooking other recipes in the recipe book that come along with the spices.
This is such a fun set of spices to either get for yourself or to give as a gift to the cook in your life. Don't be afraid to try things, be willing to eat food out of your comfort zone and just have fun with it. The spices from the Kitchen Curry Master certainly make it easier to have fun with food!
Kitchen Curry Master retails for $79.99 but with the limited time spring offer you can get this great set for only $49.95!

  3. The main problem with curry is that it lingers in the air for awhile after you use it. Though the taste may offset that problem.
