No fear, no sadness, left anger and disgust at home only Joy on the red carpet premiere of Inside Out! #‎InsideOutEvent

****Disney provided an all-expense paid trip for me to cover this great event ****

Getting to walk the red carpet is an amazing experience, it is something I never really thought I would ever do in my lifetime. The red carpet is for the big celebs in Hollywood, not for working moms like me…but that is not the case. The amazing seemingly unattainable dream did come true, not only once but twice! I cannot tell you how blessed I am to have these amazing experiences, all I can say is I love my job!
On a very sunny late afternoon, I attended the amazing Inside Out red carpet premiere! For this particular premiere the carpet was purple, did you know that not all premiere carpets are red?  I will be able to walk along such great starts as Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan and so many more big name stars.
Since this was a summer premiere the dress code was a tiny bit more casual, no need for a dazzling prom like dress, so I went with a mint dress that was light and flowed nicely.
I have to admit I was a little nervous, even though this was my second trip to the red carpet (the first was for the amazing Iron Man 3 premiere) the butterflies in my stomach were still fluttering. This was all so very exciting! Hollywood Boulevard was filled with action and excitement there were people everywhere!
Walking down the red carpet was just as exciting as you could ever imagine. You were like a real star if only for a little while. We all were able to walk down the red carpet close to where the stars were giving interviews and getting their pictures taken. Along with the celebrities, you also got to see the paparazzi and all of the screaming fans. And I was right in the middle of all of the action. This was just so cool!

After we walked the initial part of the carpet and made it to outside of the theater, that was not all…. That is where the fun began! There was a party that we were all invited to a carnival of sorts filled with games fun and food.  We mixed and mingled played some games and had some great food.
They had broccoli pizza (see the film… you will get the joke..) mac and cheese yummy desserts and more! My favorite was the Inside Out character cakes! These cakes were topped with bite sized cupcakes, they were as tasty as they were cute!
What is a red carpet (oops purple!) premiere without celebrities?? Well this premiere was jammed packed full of some of your favorite celebrities. I was very fortunate to meet up with some on the purple carpet, including some who were voices from Inside out, including Bobby Moynihan, who voiced Forgetter Bobby, Pixar legend John Ratzenberger who voiced Fritz! Producer Jonas Rivera took the time for a photo and to chat..  I was lucky to hear him speak at Disney Social Media Moms where he spoke about the making of Inside Out.
I got to see the person who voiced my favorite character Sadness, Phyllis Smith. I also got to meet skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk! He was so tall! He, his and daughter were looking forward to seeing the movie, but I am sure we all were.
I was the most star struck of all with Tony Baxter!! I really met Tony Baxter! He designed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain two of my most favorite rides. The Disney nerd inside of me was geeking out a bit!  All of the celebrities I met were so friendly and were so sweet when I asked to take a picture with them.
My time on the red carpet was a wonderful experience, a memory I will treasure forever. So how was the movie? Well I will give you my full review very soon, I just have to say when you see the movie bring tissues! Be sure to stay tuned, I will have more Inside Out information, about new product lines, and Disney Infinity characters and even an interview with Kyle MacLachlan who voices the Dad in Inside Out.
