Real Angry Birds debuts this Sunday at 9/8c July 12! @NatGeoWILD #DestinationWild


Summer is here and with it comes lots of trips to the beach, camp, and loads of summer fun. Guess what else is a great part of summer for us, summer TV specials! And Nat Geo WILD's has a great upcoming summer series "Destination Wild." The first amazing episode, is "Real Angry Birds," which debuts this Sunday at 9/8c. We love the game Angry Birds and have been playing it for ages, it is a fun addicting game where the birds just fly!

Did you ever wonder about the real angry birds out there? Well wonder no more because Nat Geo Wild is going to tell you all about the REAL Angry Birds!

 Leave the Housewives behind this season to globe-trot with the animals of summer, a motley crew of eagles, elephants, dolphins, monkeys, kangaroos, grizzlies and many more. They are upping the reality game with featherweight food fights, singing competitions, dance-offs and all-out brawls. The only rule is there are no rules. Destination Wild premiere specials air EVERY Sunday night on Nat Geo WILD for 12 weeks in a row, beginning Sunday, July 12, at 9/8c.

It all starts with a flight above the clouds to see the Real Angry Birds, inspired by the popular game and No. 1 book, to see what happens when they get their feathers ruffled. Clever Monkeys is a cheeky look at our primate cousins whose intelligence and emotions will strike a familiar chord. Fur Seal Battleground follows two seal pups that are trying to be among the 50 percent that survive the first year of life. Extremely rare footage of a kangaroo birth in Kangaroo King is a must-see. All this and more animal wonder is in store this summer.
