One of the best things about the holidays is visiting Santa. What kids does not love the chance to visit the jolly old man himself, to tell him their Christmas wish list. Sure that is a great time, and makes amazing memories...

When my daughter visited Santa for the first time, she was only a few weeks old, the line was huge! We waited for nearly an hour to get to the front of the line to see Santa, and by that time my daughter wanted to eat... Needless to say we came out with a crying baby in the picture. But luckily there is another option for today's family's! With HGTV Presents Santa HQ, you can not only make a reservation online, you can choose your photo package, and be ready to go when you get to the mall... I can only imagine how different our first meeting with Santa would have been if we were able to have an appointment.
I was very fortunate to be able to check out a HGTV Presents Santa HQ at the Deptford Mall in NJ. Is this experience just seeing Santa taking a picture and that is it? No, it is a lot more and it is spectacular. You can discover the holiday wonderment in this immersive and innovative experience.
This fun experience transports you visually to the North Pole! While at the "North Pole" you enter the headquarters and are scanned by the Naughty or Nice O'Meter, were you a good girl or boy this year? Well this meter is going to let you know! I know I have been a good girl, and of course the meter knew!
Have you ever wanted to be an elf, well here you can take an "Elfie Selfie" and share it instantly with family and friends. You can also star in your own holiday video, the kids just loved that!
Then you are off to the North Pole Observatory to experience Elf-Ray Vision 3D, with this you are on a holiday hunt to find Santa's elves throughout the Santa HQ experience. This experience was like I would imagine the North Pole, and Santa's workshop
would be if we ever had the chance to visit. My family had a great time, we laughed, played and got some great pictures in headquarters. But the fun was not over yet, we still have to meet the big red man himself, Santa!
Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to pose for a picture with my family. Santa looked great he was smiling and jolly, this was a great end to a wonderful experience.
I highly suggest checking out HGTV Presents Santa HQ. The experience is in the following mall locations, I hope there is a mall near you. This experience is more than just a visit to the mall to see Santa it is time for the family to have some fun together, we loved it!
