Check out some amazing gift ideas from the Classy Mommy Social #ClassyMommySocial

Recently I had the privilege of visiting The Franklin Institute for the Classy Mommy Social, where local bloggers had the chance to check out some great gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season from a variety of venders. Colleen Padilla, from www.ClassyMommy.com put together this great event to showcase some of her favorite items for gift giving.

Yummy treats from Tastykake including new Kandy Kake flavors, Salted Carmel, and Carrot Cake and classic Pumpkin Pie Tastykake pie. Great flavors for the fall. I was able to try each of them, and I have to say they were sweet and delicious.  I brought home the Salted Carmel Kandy Kakes for my daughter and she just raved about them, and asked if I had more… Ha ha kids…

MDonalds was also there to perk us up with some McCafe coffee and a nice warm Sausage McMuffin to get our day going. I was full and ready to mingle and learn about some great new products.
All throughout the showcase there were fun toy picks that Classy Mommy deemed great gifts, there were Disney toys, great items from the upcoming film Moana, I know my daughter is really looking forward to that movie. Adorable new Tsum-Tsum’s that we simply must get, I just loved Mr. Big from Zootopia!

There were also a great book table of some wonderful book picks. These books are just the right age for my daughter, she recently got into reading and I have to introduce her to some of these picks.

Stride Rite, showed us some fun and comfortable shoes for the winter that will keep kids feet warm and dry and they will like to wear and not complain. I know my daughter is fit for comfort with Stride Rite.
Lundby had an awesome doll house to show off. It had working lights, and a sound system! Woah, I would have flipped for a doll house like this when I was a kid. Lundby also has some neat tutorials on their site to make your doll house a home, from how to decorate with printable wallpaper, to making your own pillows!
Corolle Dolls, showed us how adorable baby dolls can be. Their line of dolls are so very well made and are built to last. The dolls are made in France and are much higher end than the usual baby dolls I have seen out there. If you have a little one, who would love to play Mommy, these are the dolls for them.
American Girl, showed off some of their classic dolls and their new Wellie Wishers dolls, these smaller dolls are just as adorable as the classic American Girl Dolls, but at a lower price point.

The Franklin Institute, was there to tell us about some of their upcoming exhibits. Are you a fan of Jurassic Park? Well you are going to be excited to hear that there is a bit of Jurassic World coming soon!
Yes The Franklin Institute will have their own mini version of the Jurassic World park, with select animatronic dinosaurs! Wow now this is going to be really cool, I loved all the movies and to immerse myself in a version would be educational and fun.
Just Play, had an amazing assortment of toys for kids of all ages. From classics you may remember when you were a kid, like Care Bears, remember Care Bear Cousins? Well I sure do, they were all the rage when I was a kid.
Were you a fan of Water Babies too? These were the little baby dolls that were filled up with water to make them feel more like a real baby. Well each of these toy lines are back and as popular as ever.
Just Play Toys, also has some fun new Disney toys including a super adorable Super Roller-Skating Minnie Plush doll. She roller skates around and even does a split on the skates! She just made me smile, I think this was my favorite toy of the day.

Beauty Counter, had plenty of beauty items for us to try out, are you looking for a new skin cream or wash, what about some new makeup for the holidays? Why not check out Beauty Counter.

Save The Children was there to help us set us a prep card for our kids. Do you have a ICE Contact Card? In Case of Emergency (ICE) contact cards are great to have because you just never know what may happen and you want to be sure you have all the contact info you may need in one place. Be sure to set up and print you ICE card today.
Blow Out, Blow Dry Bar was offering a free blow out to attendees, my hair is so thin and flat, but when I get a blow out my hair seems a totally different, unfortunately I did not get the time to have the blow out this time, but I will have to pay them a visit soon.
Isagenix  had plenty of supplements, and information to help us all get our bodies back and get heathier for the holidays.

Nicole Feliciano shared her book Mom Boss, this seemed like such an interesting book since it is similar to the life I lead. For me I too am a Mom Boss. I will have to pick up a copy soon.
I would like to thank @ClassyMommy for the chance to attend this fun event. I have so many great ideas for my young nieces and nephews for Christmas and for their birthdays!  Overall I had a wonderful time, it was a good way to meet new friends and find out about some new, and new to me items. I hope to share more in the upcoming months, from these great sponsors.

I'm big on giving books to my niece & nephew. Others can give them toys.
