Get #HersheyparkHappy with a sweet King Sized shake @HersheyPark #HersheyPA

We all know that Hershey PA is chocolate town USA  a place filled with everything chocolate you can imagine, from treats to chocolate-themed rides at HersheyPark. You can get your fill of chocolate candy, fudge, cupcakes, cookies and I could just go on and on! But there is one treat I have never seen before, at the park, a treat that stopped me in my tracks and I said I have to have that! Mind you it was raining, so you know this has to be something special to make us stop... Oh, and it is! I would like to introduce you all to Simply Chocolate, a food location at HersheyPark. This seems just like any old food location, but they serve something that is out of this world amazing... The King Size Shake!

Sure we have all had milkshakes in our days, a creamy treat that we all love... But this is unlike any milkshake I have ever seen before in my life! As you walk up to Simply Chocolate, you are greeted by the King Sized Shake menu. What will it be for you today? An enormous Kisses Chocolate shake complete with a full sized cookie on the top, or a Hershey's Chocolate bar shake, topped with a cupcake? Hmm?

Well since to me there is nothing better than the combination of peanut butter and chocolate, the Reeses shake was the obvious choice for us! The shake was filled with a peanut butter and chocolate milkshake and topped with two full sized pretzel rods dipped in more chocolate.
Around the rim of the cup was frosting.. ahh chocolate frosting surrounded by Reese's pieces, and mini Reese's cups. That is not all held in by the straw was two nice sized pieces of peanut butter pie!! Then topped with sprinkles and whipped cream.
The rich peanut butter pie, complete with a chocolate crust (yes, even more, chocolate) this was a show stopper. We got quite a bit of attention when we ordered it a passerby's marveled and asked what it was and where we got it. So what did we think of this marvel? Well, it was pretty great, my husband my daughter and I just loved the rich chocolate flavor, the only thing we could have asked for would be a bit more peanut butter, just because we love peanut butter.
The King Sized Shakes retail for $13.99. I know what you may be thinking... $13.99 for a shake, for a shake?? Yes, the price may be a little on the high side, but this was indeed a king sized shake it was HUGE! My family of three could not take it all on, we make a valiant effort but we only got so far, there was just so much sweet goodness, it could really feed a couple with no problems!
There are even seasonal choices when I was there, the seasonal choice was the Carrot Cake King Sized Shake, topped with spring goodies that included a Peep! Sadly this flavor is no longer available, but think of what they could have for other seasons...

Perhaps an apple pie for the summer? Or pumpkin for the fall, or eggnog for the winter? Those flavors are not on tap, but it would be cool if they were right? I can't wait for our next visit to HersheyPark to see what flavors they have next... Oh and to ride the rides too!

That shake looks like it will keep me full for a LONG time! I'm also sure that I could share quite a bit of it with my children! So decadent!
