Of course, we had to make a special family trip to the movies when this movie hit the theaters, so you know we were super-excited to see the film again in our home! What was our take of this in the home release? Recently we were able to check out the 4K Ultra Blu-ray, and well I adored the movie even more than I did in the theater. I just loved singing along with the songs I grew up with (I think I may be showing my age a bit) the song Brandy just fit the scene so well... "Brandy, you're a fine girl" (you're a fine girl) "What a good wife you would be" (such a fine girl)" Ok ok I was just in the groove there... Your favorites are back all the stars including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket are here for Guardians Vol 2 and they are as fun and snarky as ever.

Baby Groot was the hit of the movie for my daughter and myself, what can I say we just love adorable characters and Baby Groot... Come on it does not get cuter than that! Of course, the movie was amazing... but the extras were amazinginger (wait is that really a word?) Or favorites were the Guardians Inferno Music Video with this video you join David Hasselhoff and special guests for a galactic retro dance party. We could not help but dance around. The gag reel was pretty funny too, it really gave you a sense of how much fun those guys and gals were having on the set. One of my favorite extras of any release is the deleted scenes, I love to see how one little scene may change the dynamic of the film, they are always great to watch.  What movie can make you belly laugh, aww and cry? Well , hat movie is called Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!

If you would like to pick up the 4K Ultra HD copy you will be in for even more treats this in-home experience is the Ultimate Cinematic Universe Edition (which includes a collectible poster while supplies last) comes packaged to include a 4K Ultra HD version of the film, a Blu-ray, a Digital Copy and more than 80-minutes of exclusive, never-before-seen bonus materials. The bonus will take fans behind the scenes with the movie’s diverse, dynamic cast of misfits and inspired team of filmmakers, debut an all-new original music video starring David Hasselhoff and special guests, hilarious outtakes, deleted scenes, audio commentary by director James Gunn, and more.
