Come along and join us in our excitement for the arrival of the Disney Social Media Moms conference, day 1! #DisneySMMC

****I was invited to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Land and Sea Celebration conference. I paid a conference fee to attend. I received a discounted rate for my stay. All opinions are my own. I have not been compensated or asked to post about Disney.****

The event was finally here! It was time to enjoy our first day of the Disney Media Moms Conference. The first step was taking Disney’s Magical Express to our resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for our three day all immersed stay, then we would head off to the sea portion of the trip. My mother and I were super excited to get the fun started. After we checked into the lovely resort we could do wait to get out and head to the parks to start having some Disney fun.  But first up to get our credentials and check in to see what the Disney Media Moms Conference had in store for us... I will have more on that later...

After some quick pictures, we headed right off to the busses to take the ride to the Magic Kingdon! We were ready! We went and enjoyed some of our favorite classic rides, including It's a Small World, Splash Mountain and lots more.
Sadly we said goodbye to the redhead "buying a bride" scene from Pirates of the Carribean. It has been a favorite scene for many from the ride. But I am excited to see the new scene on the ride. I technically have seen the new scene when we rode Pirates of the Carribean in Disneyland Paris... But I had no idea what they were saying, the scene was in French... I guess I am looking forward to hearing and seeing the new version.

After all of the fun, we had to ride the rides it was almost time to head back to the Coronado because I had a special Influencer Round-Up! Reception. We were going to meet up with other influencers, meet new friends and connect with old friends. This was also going to be the time when we were going to get some information about the new adventures awaiting those who visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer.
But first, we needed to stop and get a Dole Whip! It is a first-day tradition for us, and this trip was going to be no different. I am so glad that they brought back the vanilla and swirl option for the Dole Whip floats, they are amazing!

When we were back at the Coronado, I was ready to head to the conference room to mix and mingle and learn more about the New additions to Disney's Holywood Studios. When we were there we were introduced to the President of Walt Disney World, George Kalogridis. Wow, that was such an honor! George Kalogridis acknowledged that he understands how important influencers like us are (yet again, what an honor to be appreciated like that from such an important figure in the Disney universe) and how we play a special part in getting information out about the Disney parks to our readers.
We got some great information about the additions of Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land... Along with the great new rides that are coming to Walt Disney Studios. Don't worry I will have plenty of new things to share, there was just so much information! Can't fit it all in one post, that is for sure. Before we went off to join our families for more fun, one super lucky influencer won a night stay in Cinderella's castle! It was magical, I am sure a dream come true for the lucky reciepient.

I had tears in my eyes, I was so happy for the winner. Such a great way to start the magical week that was yet to come. We left Philadelphia at 4am, and my mother and I were starting to feel it, so we decided to turn in so we would be refreshed for the next day. Because what a day it was going to be! We were going to be heading out first thing to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to have a special Private Attractions Experience in Pandora – The World of Avatar! Stay tuned, more information about this soon!
