Based on the first book of the New York Times and USA Today best-selling series – The Beaumont, by Heidi McLaughlin – Forever My Girl was written for the screen and directed by Bethany Ashton Wolf (Midnight Juliet) and is jam-packed with original songs from country music mega-producer Brett Boyett (TV’s “Nashville,” “Friday Night Lights”).

Alex Roe (Rings, Hot Summer Nights) and Jessica Rothe (La La Land, Happy Death Day) star alongside Abby Ryder Fortson (Ant-Man, TV’s “Togetherness”), John Benjamin Hickey (Hostiles, Flags of our Fathers), Tyler Riggs (Boomtown), Peter Cambor (TV’s “Grace and Frankie,” “NCIS: Los Angeles”), and Gillian Vigman (Step Brothers, The Hangover) in this sweet, uplifting love story.

Forever My Girl tells the story of country music superstar Liam Page (Roe), who left his bride, Josie (Rothe), at the altar, choosing fame and fortune instead. However, Liam never got over his one true love, nor did he ever forget his Southern roots. When he unexpectedly returns to his hometown, Liam is torn between his two worlds.

I really enjoyed checking out this movie it was a sweet love story that made me laugh and cry. I loved Alex Roe in this movie, he was perfect for the role, and he is not hard to look at if you know what I mean. The soundtrack is great and it is an all around fun movie. I would recommend this movie for a fun girls night or date night movie. Forever My Girl is to be released on April 24, 2018.
