Join along with a fun filled day at Hersheypark, this amazing park is celebrating its 111th anniversary! #HersheyPA

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Spring is here and the weather is (finally!) getting nice here in the Northeast and for my family, it is time to visit one of our most favorite parks Hersheypark. There is a lot going on for Hersheypark in 2018, besides celebrating their 111th summer season, there are so many cool new things for the park including, The Boardwalk At Hersheypark, great concerts to yummy food trucks, and of course all of the classic Hersheypark favorites.
Since it was going to be a warmer (warmer than the 30 degree spring days we have been having in April) my family and I decided to take a dive up and visit Hersheypark in Hershey PA and enjoy a fun weekend together as a family. My daughter is growing up so quickly and I want to be sure that we take as many family trips as we can and enjoy the time together before my daughter is away to college, ack just the thought!
So we packed up the car and headed off to Hershey PA, for us, it is about a 2-hour drive, and then we are in Chocolate Town USA! with Hersheypark there are always so many great things to check out. From wild thrill rides like the classic coasters, Great Bear, Skyrush and 11 more! Hersheypark has a total of 13 coasters, your thrill fan will geek out for sure.  There is also the thrilling Hershey Triple Tower! This is the first choose-your-thrill triple tower in the United States.

There are also other more family-friendly tamer rides for those non-coaster fans out there, including the Laff Trakk, The Monorail, The Ferris Wheel, Merry-go-round, and other great family rides such as Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge, The Music Express, the Whip and The Kissing Tower and many many more... Little childrens rids are also plentiful, your toddler will have a blast jumping from ride to ride there are so many to chose from.
As you would expect there are plenty of sweet treats from chocolate treats (of course!) to salty treats and just about all in-between Hersheypark has just what you are looking for. Pretzels, Kettle Corn, King Sized Shakes, the list goes on and on!
Before you fill up on treats, you need a proper meal to keep you fueled and going while you explore Hersheypark and there are plenty of options out there for that as well, including known favorites such as Chickie's & Pete's, Moe's Southwest Grill, & Subway. Of course, there is some amazing food that is only available at Hersheypark as well such as, Wurstburg Grill, Pioneer Pete's, Hersheypark Place and lots more. It just depends on what kind of food you are hungry for most likely Hersheypark has it!

We love to check out the grab machines and games to try our luck and pick up a little souvenir. My daughter scoped out a little Pokemon and won she was pretty excited. I tell you one of these days we are going to win those huge stuffed Hershey bars! Now getting it home in our small car, well that would be pretty funny.
As my family ran around the park like little kids, it was nice to step back and just soak it all in, to enjoy my daughters childish fun. Of course, we had to stop and get a picture with Kiss... She was just so adorable. Another great thing about Hersheypark is that you can meet some of your favorite chocolate as walk around characters! From a Hershey bar to, KitKat there are plenty of sweet friends to meet.

We were able to look around and peek from a distance to check out The Boardwalk At Hersheypark®, there are lots of sprucing up and new additions being added, really looking forward to the opening. The Boardwalk At Hersheypark® is included in your one-price Hersheypark admission and is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

As mentioned Hersheypark is celebrating its 111th anniversary, just think of how amazing that is to think the US Army is celebrating its 110th anniversary. Hersheypark is older than the army, wow. It is pretty great that the park is going strong and is better than ever! There are plenty of fun new things for 2018 including new food options, sweet snacks, and new attractions!

I like Hersheypark's Super Duper Looper the most. I remember riding it for the first time right after it was built in 1977 and many more times after that.
