Singing? Dancing? Fun in the sun?... Yea! Our take on Teen Beach 2! #‎TeenBeach2‬event

We are back with another adventure with our favorite pals Brady and Mack in Disney’s Teen Beach 2! Summer is over and it is back to real life for these two… Will they change from the care free lifestyle for a more regimented school life work for these two? With the arrival of the bikers and surfers from the classic Wet Side Story in present time Brady and Mack will have a lot on their plate this school season!

What is going to happen, will the characters from Wet Side Story make it in today’s world? Or will they want to go back to Wet Side Story? Can they go back?? Well you are just going to have to watch the movie to find out, I am not going to spoil it for you. This movie was great I really enjoyed it, it just flew by and before I knew it the credits were rolling. What I enjoyed most of all was the great messages of the story….. The two female leads Mack, and Lela were strong female characters, who were not about to let anyone tell them what to do. They showed that with a strong friendship and a belief in yourself anything is possible. 

The characters in Teen Beach 2 encourage kids to believe in themselves, and never give up! There is no harsh language or anything inappropriate, with a rating of TV G it is appropriate for all ages. Teen Beach 2 is filled with the dancing you love and some great new songs that you will be singing over and over. Families can enjoy learning the dance numbers and singing along together with the fun of Teen Beach 2. 
            
My daughter just loves to dance along, and I like to join in too, it's not as fluid as it is in the movie but we certainly give it our all and have a blast doing it! The costumes are bright and colorful and really put you in a 60’s mood. Overall we loved the movie, and will be watching it again and again.

I have a soft spot for my two favorites in the cast CheeChee and Seacat, they really get to show off their talents singing it out together in Falling For Ya. It is fun to see all of the intense and well-choreographed dance scenes in Teen Beach 2, when you pick up the DVD on June 26^th there are some great extras, you can see for yourself all of the practice that goes into these routines.

I know firsthand it is not easy learning a few steps dancing to Gotta Be Me with Chrissie Fit and Jordan Fisher was tough, and I am pretty sure they were taking it super easy on us! Did you ever wonder…  How is it dancing on a beach? How can you make it through the hours and hours of rehearsals? Well you can find out in the extra: exclusive cast dance rehearsals on the DVD.

Game On! The Disney Infinity population just increased and got a little more emotional! #‎InsideOutEvent

Coming Infinity 3.0 this fall is something both my husband and daughter are looking forward to Disney Infinity 3.0. My husband (and daughter) is really looking forward to the Star Wars aspect and my daughter can’t wait to get a chance to play with Riley’s emotions from Pixar’s newest movie Inside Out. I’m not much of a gamer, I try but I’m not all the good and it frustrates my daughter because I can’t keep up. But the thing I do love is looking at all the Infinity figures my daughter has lined up on her dresser.

These figures are so well made and if you didn’t know they belonged to a video game you’d just assume that they’re a nice collectible. And this coming Fall she’ll have some new figures to add to her ever growing collection.

If Star Wars is your thing you’ll get to add Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Wicket the Ewok, Yoda and many other characters you’ll easily recognize to the game. Also you’ll be able to add Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust from Pixar’s Inside Out. With Infinity 3.0 one of the best things is it is all compatible with the older games, so all the figures you have already will work with the new game and you’ll be able to have some interesting team-ups!

With 50 new characters to add to the mix your playtime and replay value is endless. The toy box game and open world aspect you’re used to will be there but there is so much more that you’ll be able to do like eventually you’ll be able to race the characters in a Mario Kart style game (I know my daughter is really excited about this aspect.)

And with regard to Inside Out playset this isn’t a rehash of the movie, it works almost like a sequel to the movie. Riley is still the main character but this time she’s a babysitter who falls asleep and accidentally lands on the remote and changes the channel to a scary movie and thus putting her emotions to work to help calm the situation down. I love the idea of a totally new idea and not just something that you’ve seen already.

All the emotions have special powers to help them make it through the game: Anger uses his fists of rage to smash things, Joy has a ray of lighthearted, optimistic sunshine that brings cheer to every adventure, Fear uses his nervous waves to clear the way of obstacles, Disgust uses her sass to send waves of emotions with feisty confidence and Sadness turns waves of sadness into melodramatic fun all while trying to remain positive. I can’t wait to try it, I’ll be awful at it but I’ll try it….then I’ll quit and watch my daughter play the game correctly and actually enjoy it without getting frustrated like I do!
