KidFresh Frozen Meals Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you a busy mom like me, and are you trying to make sure you buy the right healthy food for your kids? Well I have a great option for you. Kidfresh is a great healthy line of food for kids. Here is a little more information about Kidfresh from the website:

Created by parents for parents, with the help of top pediatric nutritionists and NYC-based chefs, Kidfresh has grown from its initial concept store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in the mid 2000’s to become a pioneer in all-natural, wholesome, yummy kids meals, available in the freezer sections of leading grocery stores and supermarkets in the United States. Kidfresh offers time-tested kid favorite entrees with 100% natural ingredients, blended vegetables and key nutrients for growing children – ready in 3 minutes. Each meal comes high in protein and vitamins, contains low sodium, and all for under 400 calories.

Kidfresh meals are a welcome solution to today’s busy parents and the company’s founder Matt Cohen created the line of frozen meals with his family in mind and makes sure that his company also helps children in need; Kidfresh is a proud sponsor of Save the Children and has donated meals to City Harvest, a New York-based non-profit which helps to feed families in need. My Review:

As a working mother I am sometimes frazzled when I come home from work, but I do not want to just grab anything and just serve junk for dinner. And now with the option of a quick and healthy Kidfresh meal, I know this will be the perfect quick meal for my daughter.

My daughter eats lunch at 10:30am! Yes 10:30 and yes that is very early. And they have no afternoon snack at her school. So needless to say when my daughter comes home she is famished! So when she comes home she wants to eat right away! And I don’t want to just give her some junk so the Kidfresh meals are a great option for a busy mom like me.

I love the great varieties, and that they are all under 400 calories and the best part of all is that they are 100% natural! That is such a great thing, have you ever checked out the ingredients of other “kids” meals  it is scary! Oh my goodness, they have so much junk in them, that just can’t be good for my daughter.
My daughter was able to try the macaroni and cheese, she just loves mac and cheese, and the secret is the meals are full of hidden veggies there are up to a 1/2 cup pureed in every Kidfresh  meal. That is a great way for my daughter to get her veggies, eating something she loves. She ate it all and just loved it!

So if you are looking for a healthy meal for your child, that is quick and easy make sure to check out Kidfresh meals at your local supermarket.
