Duff’s Premium Cake Mixes and frosting making homemade masterpiece cakes at home with Duff™ Pan Starter Kit #Giveaway

I love to bake! When it comes to parties or get togethers I am the person who volunteers to bake, just because I love it so much. I bake just about anything and everything, from cookies to pies you name it.  One of my favorite TV bakers Duff Goldman came out with easy to make cake mixes that can make anyone a cake designer  at home.

If you would like to make bakery quality cakes at home, you are going to love Duff’s Premium Cake Mixes and frosting designed to let everyday bakers easily create masterpiece cakes of their own! Here is a little more information about Duff’s Baking items from the website:

Unleash your inner artist with cake decorating products that break all the rules from Duff Goldman by Gartner Studios. Finally, awesome cake products that are less about coloring inside the lines and more about getting inspired. Dream up your own uncommon cake creation and bake it into reality with professional grade cake mixes, baking pans and tools, plus the best-tasting fondant, colorful icings and wildly creative decorating tools from Duff Goldman, star of Food Network shows “Ace of Cakes” and “Sugar High” and owner of the famed Charm City Cakes. Easy enough for beginners, with the premium quality expected by the pros, this extensive line of baking products is a whole lot of fun for everyone.

There are some new items celebrity bad-boy-of-baking and star of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman has just added to the Duff Goldman by Gartner Studios line of cake baking and decorating products -- designed by to let everyday bakers “unleash their inner artist” and easily create masterpiece cakes of their own at home. There are some great cake mixes that you are going to love!

Duff's cake mixes are just like the ones used in professional bakeries. Try our new Pink Camouflage Cake! One package of this cake mix makes one 9"x13” cake or two double-layer 8” or 9” round cakes. Also available: Camouflage, White, Chocolate, Yellow, Zebra, Red Velvet, Confetti, Spice with Chocolate Bits, PB+Chocolate, White Mocha, and Minty-Chip Chocolate.

Sure they all look amazing, but there is a  new edition, the Duff™ Pink Camouflage Cake!

Our Take:
I was very fortunate to be able to try out a cake mix and frosting combo from Duff, the new Pink Camouflage Cake! Duff's cake mixes are just like the ones used in professional bakeries. One package of this cake mix makes one 9"x13” cake or two double-layer 8” or 9” round cakes. Duff’s Premium Cake Mixes use low protein, low gluten flour, which makes for a lighter, fluffier cake.

You can’t make a great cake without the right tools right? Well you can get all you need to make professional cakes right from Duff too. I was also able to check out the, Duff™Pan Starter Kit which includes:
9 inch Round  Anodized Aluminum Pan -1ea
8 inch Weight Anodized Aluminum Pan -1ea
6 inch Weight Anodized Aluminum Pan -1ea
Decorative Wires - 8ea
Seamless Tip Decorating Kit - 15pc
Fondant Smoother - 1ea
Medium Icing Spatula - 1ea
Fondant Cutter Set 12pc

If you purchased this kit alone the cost would be $119, but if you purchase this kit it will only be $29.99, that is an amazing savings!  Now off to make a pink camo cake.  The steps were a bit different than the usual  cake mix. Sure there were a few more steps but nothing that was hard or took that much more time.
To make you simply had to mix the cake mix normally, then separate the mix into 3 bowls, then add the cool colors as directed. When the colors are mixed and ready in the separate bowls, you have to drop spoonful’s into a cake round again and again until you are out of mix and the round is full.
This was amazingly easy to make, and really seemed like it took hours to do (shh it will be our secret) but it did not. I have never made a towering cake like this, but it was fun to make. The baking kit had all the tins and frosting spreaders I could ever need.  A must for all bakers and the cost of $29.99 cannot be beat.  What to make next? Decorated cupcakes? Or my own fondant? Well I am up for anything, and with this kit it will make having fun baking in the kitchen that much easier.

These yummy looking (and tasting) cakes come in a variety of unique flavors, including Camouflage, White, Chocolate, Yellow, Zebra, Red Velvet, Confetti, Spice with Chocolate Bits, PB+Chocolate, White Mocha, and Minty-Chip Chocolate. So if you are looking for a great unique cake idea I would highly suggest checking out the Duff Baking line of great styles and flavors. They also have great baking supplies, all you need to make your cake amazing. These cakes will make those special occasions, from birthdays to holiday parties that more special.

Make sure to check out this great video showing how to make your  own camo creation!
