PixiePlants - Review

PixiePlants - Little plants in keychains

From the Pixi Plant website: Plants have a positive effect on humans and animals especially when you watch them grow, thrive and bloom. With PixiePlants we are trying to raise awareness of a green environment to make the people happier. Our goal is to make hard working people in urban areas find joy by carrying around a little piece of nature.

I was lucky enough to review the Orb pixi plant here:

One of the things I wish I had was a green thumb. My thumb isn't green, it's black! Everything I try to grow usually winds up dead, even plastic plants have died under my watch! I received a a tiny little cactus key chain  from Pixie Plants (http://www.pixieplants.com/.) A little tiny LIVE cactus on a key chain, it's about the cutest thing I've ever seen! Here's my chance to redeem myself and turn myself into someone with a well let's shoot for something like brown first, I'll work my way slowly up to green! All the little guy needs is some sunlight for a couple hours a day and water every 4-6 weeks.
Along with a collection of cacti they also have Evergreens (no, not little Christmas trees!) these are dried flowers that don't require the care the cacti require but are small and delicate and pretty. The Pixie Plants are $6.95 while the Evergreens are $9.95. If you're looking for a gift for someone who's tough to shop for or who has everything give Pixie Plants a try, you will find an inexpensive unique gift that will bring a smile to their face.
