Madelaine Chocolates - Review Father's Day Gift Guide (And a Giveaway)

About the The Madelaine Chocolate Company. (from the Website)

Established in 1949, we’ve dedicated ourselves to perfecting the superior taste and quality of our chocolate. Our belief that everyone should be able to afford great tasting chocolate is what drives our commitment to our customers, and ensures that we never compromise on flavor or quality.
Located in Far Rockaway, Queens, we're proud to say that as an American family-owned and run company, our chocolates have been made solely in New York and have been part of the American family life for 60 years. From holidays and birthdays, to Easter, Valentines and graduations - The Madelaine Chocolate Company has always been there.

Using the finest quality chocolate, innovative shapes and unique Italian foils, we’re proud to help make every moment special.

Madelaine - Sharing Every Chocolate Moment, since 1949

Madelaine Chocolate company was generous enough to let me review:

Chocolate peanut butter filled Footballs - Bite sized premium milk chocolate footballs filled with creamy peanut butter, wrapped in Italian foil that resembles official league footballs.

 Duets-
  • Peanut butter and Raspberry - Sweet, juicy raspberry in perfect harmony with tasty peanut butter wrapped in a yummy milk chocolate shell.
  • Peanut Butter and Carmel - Double-filled center of rich, creamy peanut butter and gooey sweet caramel wrapped in a delicious milk chocolate shell.
  • White & Milk Chocolate Truffle - Smooth milk chocolate truffle perfectly complimented by creamy white chocolate truffle, wrapped in a delicate milk chocolate shell.
  • White Truffle and Raspberry- Tart raspberry combined with melt-in-the-mouth white chocolate truffle, delicately wrapped in a luscious milk chocolate shell.

Latte Coffee cups - The most popular coffee flavor has been captured in this "Latte" coffee cup truffle. An outrageous, melt-in-your-mouth coffee flavored ganache, smothered in smooth milk chocolate, wrapped in Italian foil, featuring a distinctive design that is reminiscent of a cozy coffee house.

Boxed Golf Balls - 3 semi-solid premium milk chocolate balls, wrapped in realistic white golf ball Italian foil. Packaged in window box showcasing three balls and golf tee.

Golf Foiled Mint Truffles - Green mint center, blended with pure peppermint oil, sandwiched between two layers of premium dark chocolate, wrapped in embossed gold Italian foil. Sometimes called hostess mints.

My review:

I recently received a decadent box of goodies from The Madelaine Chocolate Company. Here’s a small idea of what we received: 4 boxes of duets which are double filled truffles, semi-solid milk chocolate golf balls complete with a tee, mint truffles, and peanut butter filled footballs.
I don’t know where to begin. The duets are great, the peanut butter & raspberry is like a chocolate encased pb&j sandwich! There is also peanut butter & caramel, milk truffle and white truffle, and raspberry and white truffle. These are really popular in our house and I’ve been using them to bribe my daughter to do her homework. Get it done by any means necessary!

My husband wiped out the entire bag of mint truffles, he’s loves mint almost as much as cinnamon….almost. I believe his quote was these are better than Andes! I’ll take his word for it since all that’s left is pretty little gold wrappers. The peanut butter filled footballs were also a hit, my daughter thought they were so little and cute, and my husband loved them, well because he loves chocolate and football.  If your husband or father is a fan of golf the chocolate golf ball are great too, they even come with a tee! And last but certainly not least (my favorite item I reviewed) the Latte Coffee cups. They had such a wonderful coffee flavor, I have had coffee candy before and most of it can be bitter... But not these they are sweet and creamy with a great latte flavor, a real pick me up!

The Madelaine Chocolate company has been making chocolate for 62 years, their craftsmanship really shines, this is some seriously good chocolate. This would make a great fathers day gift, why not Check out Madelaine Chocolates, and find out where to buy these goodies and put a pack together to surprise dad?
