Enstrom's Almond Toffee - Review (and a giveaway)

About Enstrom's (from the website)

Three generations ago, Chet Enstrom perfected the art of blending the finest natural ingredients to create batches of almond toffee as gifts for family and friends. By 1960, his almond toffee had begun to develop a reputation and, at the urging of family and friends, Chet and his wife, Vernie, founded Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Over the years, the business has grown and been passed down from generation to generation. The family still follows the same original recipe for the almond toffee that Chet perfected almost 80 years ago. They have also created a delectable selection of fine chocolates, which like the toffee, are blended with only the freshest, high-quality ingredients to create luxurious and unique confections that are shipped around the world.

Today, Chet's granddaughter, Jamee and her husband, Doug Simons, have owned and operated the company since 1993, and oversee the operation out of Grand Junction. Chet's grandson Rick, and his wife Linda, manage the Denver area retail stores. This third generation continues to take pride in creating truly exceptional confections and still operates with the philosophy begun by Chet; that they're just making a little Almond Toffee for a few of their friends.

Our all-natural, World Famous Almond Toffee is crafted from a perfect blend…fresh California almonds, sweet cream butter and pure cane sugar, covered in a generous layer of rich chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds.

My Review:

I am a chocolate lover, I admit it. But I am quickly becoming a toffee lover as well, I was so happy when I was able to review Enstrom's Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee when the package arrived I knew just what it was. The toffee is shipped frozen, I was amazed at how well this was packed, it was packed with ice packs along with a ice bag to keep the toffee safe and un-melted when it arrived.

The toffee itself was creamy and delicious, it is covered in milk chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds. After trying this I could tell that Enstrom's toffee is made by hand with sweet cream butter, cane syrup and California Almonds, it really tastes fresh and homemade.
My husband is a toffee lover, and he was excited to be able to crack into one of the 2 large size slabs in the box, no you cannot have a whole slab for yourself…  I was a big fan of this toffee, I loved being able to break off a small piece and enjoy the buttery favor of toffee heaven.

The toffee can be kept in the refrigerator and frozen over and over and the toffee will still be delicious. But I do not think the toffee will last long enough to be frozen again in my house. It is very popular, and I think it will be gone soon! But the good thing is I know what to get my hubby for a stocking stuffer for Christmas this year, the toffee being only $19.99 (plus shipping) he will be sure to enjoy that gift! Endstrom's does not just do toffee they also sell gourmet chocolates and sugar-free treats.
