Joy Factory Zip USB Touch N Go Charging Station - Review

Charge your devices with a touch! The Zip multi-charging station from The Joy Factory makes charging all your devices fast and easy. Just touch your device to the pad and it slides into place. The Zip’s Touch-n-go™ design has multiple charging receivers for your Kindle, Blackberry, Treo or other mobile device and tablets. With 2100mA, you can charge up to three cellular phones at once—or more, depending on the power transformer on the devices. Ultra-low profile “ZipTail” connectors eliminate cord tangle, and unlike traditional charging systems, there’s zero percent power loss because they plug directly into your devices. The Zip comes with a starter kit that includes one mini USB and two micro USB receiver. Additional receivers and an optional case with connector are available separately. It’s never been easier—or more stylish—to charge all your wireless devices.

Ultra-Fast Charging
The low-profile “Ziptail” magnetic charging receiver snaps on to the Zip when it’s in range and the conductive technology prevents energy loss allowing a fast charge.

Convenient Calling
Pick up a phone call immediately without worrying about the constraints of the limited cable length and instantly resume charging as the Ziptail reattaches to the Zip.

Live without Clutter
No more tangling cords or multiple power plugs. Charge all your devices with just the Zip and the Ziptails.

Function + Design = Zip
The glossy piano black finish, thin elegant form, and the powerful fast charging, all entitles the Zip as the perfect power décor.

My Review:

I’m not a gadget girl I have my iPhone and iPod and that’s about it, my husband on the other hand has gadgets and back-up gadgets and back-ups for his back-ups! When we’re on vacation something that we always run into is not enough outlets to plug our devices in to charge them up. We just recently got home from a quick trip to WDW, we stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter and let me tell you we love the hotel but we don’t love the lack of electrical outlets! We had gadgets everywhere and some of them were in spots you really wouldn’t want electrical gadgets. When we got home a package was waiting for us a Zip Touch-n-Go Multi charging station (http://www.thejoyfactory.com/zip-touch-n-gotm-multi-devices-charging-system-63.html/) let me tell you it has changed our device charging lives for the better!

This little wonder is very cool; it’s sleek and sharp and works with magnets! All you need to do is get the magnetic connector close to the charging station and it locks on! You’ll find yourself plugging and unplugging your gadgets a few times because it’s fun to play with. Besides being fun it’s one of the most practical things you can own, if you have more than one gadget you need a Zip Touch-n-Go, my husband flipped when I told him we were getting one, he looked at me and said “no more power struggles!” What you need in 1 power outlet, no more unplugging lamps and clocks to charge your gadgets!

It is well worth the $79.95, what’s included are 3 usb cables (1 mini and 2 micro) but more are available so if you need more you can easily order them they’re $12.95 each. You plug the connector into your gadget and put the connector end (it’s about the size of a penny) near the Zip Touch-n-Go and watch the magnets pull your connector and snap it into place. It’s simple, clean and easy to use, in fact if you’re charging your phone and it rings all you need to do is pick it up and talk no fuss no muss.  If you or a love is a gadget person and you’re looking for a gift for them (they’re usually hard to buy for I know!) get them a Zip Touch-n-Go and make their gadget filled lives simpler.
