My family was lucky enough to be able to review a Mixed Cube, and assorted bars from Romanicos Fine Artisan Chocolates :

True chocoholics understand that one type of chocolate, one flavor, one tiny box, is never enough. We have taken our inspiration from these chocolate lovers and created this giant gift box of decadent chocolates containing our three lines of chocolate (Truffles, Chocolate Art, and our Truffle Bites).

This is a perfect gift for those who don't want to choose between our delicious chocolates and want all three. This box brings together the best of our chocolates.

The Cube Box Mixed contains 36 total pieces with:
12 Chocolate Truffles (assorted flavors)
12 Chocolate Art (assorted flavors)
12 Truffle Bites (assorted flavors)

My Review:

As I stated I am a lover of all that is chocolate, what can beat it? Well great chocolate can beat just plain chocolate any day.

Chocolate Art
Truffles
Truffle bites
Close up of the Coconut Truffle
Close up of the Key Lime Chocolate Art.
 The delightful Truffle bites

It is very hot here on the east coast, it has been on the 90's for what seems like weeks (is it fall yet??) I was a bit concerned would this delicious looking chocolate make it safe and sound? Or would it be a melted mess? I am happy to say the folks at Romanicos, know how to pack chocolate, the chocolate came in a insulated bag with lots of ice packs , and no the condensation from the melting ice packs did not damage the boxes at all they boxes were bagged as well. They were prepared for the oppressive heat we have here and my chocolate was in perfect condition.

The Cayenne chocolate bar notice the swirls of cayenne...
The wild cherry bar, look at those cherry's~

And Romanicos offers $5.99 for overnight delivery! That price is amazing, to have anything sent overnight is insanely expensive, and to have your package packed right with the ice packs and sent over night for $5.99 that is quite a bargain.

Now I know what you are asking... how did it taste? Well it was AMAZING! I know you have all tried the "specialty" chocolate in malls this chocolate blew that chocolate out of the water. You know about the care taken in shipping, but look how pretty the box is when it arrives:

Each box contains  a picture list of the flavors in the box, so need to poke or testing  the chocolate to find the flavor you are looking for (you know you have done this in the past, I am guilty of this too :)

Truffles, Chocolate Art and Truffle bites. We all may know what a truffle is, a deliciously smooth creamy soft treat. The truffle flavors ranged from  Dreaming Hazelnut to Heavenly Vanilla I loved the coconut truffle the most and my daughter was a fan of Floridian Orange She has many loose teeth and she was so happy that this sweet did not hurt her teeth, and was so easy to eat. And she loved the sweetness of the orange flavor.

But what is Chocolate Art? Chocolate Art is indeed that beautiful colorful sculpted art, that you can eat.   Oh the chocolate art Key Line Pie was spectacular,  I have never had anything quite like it, the key lime jelly and the dark chocolate worked to well together. The Chocolate Art was almost too pretty to eat... Almost..

And truffle bites are small mini creamy truffles with the lower half dipped in chocolate. ...... WOW the best of both worlds, you can have a truffle and solid chocolate, how can it get any better? Well, Hazelnut Joy is how they made it better, this had to be one of the best candy/truffle's I have ever had!

I also had the privilege of trying some of their candy bars:

soybeans and sea salt candy bar- I loved the sea salt in this bar, salt works so well with chocolate, but the soybeans made me long for peanuts, I think it would have tasted better with peanuts instead.
walnuts and honey chocolate bar-  The bitter dark chocolate and the walnuts was a great crunchy combination, and I think the honey gave it just an extra sweet kick, delicious.
Cayenne Pepper bar - Now this bar was my husband's absolute favorite, at first you could only taste the dark chocolate, and it had a great kick of spice my husband raved about it, and said it made him sweat a little, I tried it and it was good, just a little spicy for me though…

To make sure we did not eat all of the sweets at one sitting we brought the rest of the chocolate to a family birthday get together, it was not a big party but when I took out the chocolates eyes lit up, and the chocolate was loved and eaten right up.

The generous people at Romanicos Fine Artisan Chocolates have offered one of my readers a Mixed Cube like I reviewed (A $75.00 value)
