My Review:

Do you get bored with cooking sometimes? As a working mother I have to cook easy things just for the lack of time, but it gets boring sometimes. The same think over and over, there is only so much chicken one person can eat. My family was able to try a selection of food from Tasty Bites, they carry Indian Thai food, and vegetarian food. And what a variety they sent, now my family is open to trying new things, and I love trying new things as well, but trying things takes time, and time I do not have… But with Tasty Bites bagged items it only takes 90 seconds in the microwave, and here you go a great tasting side or meal.

Last night for dinner I made the entrée Kashmir Spinach and served it over the Jasmine Rice, it was very easy and delicious. My husband is a big eater so I added some chicken to the dish (I know I know chicken again?) this was not my usual chicken dish though, it was unique and delicious the spinach and paneer (a type of cheese) was spiced just right and went well with the jasmine rice. It smelled delicious while I was heating it up, it was super quick to make I had dinner to the table in minutes.

That was great for me after a long day at work, I do not want to spend my night in the kitchen cooking.  My husband loved this, he raved over the spinach and the rice, I loved it as well. If I would have made this from scratch this would have taken me forever, and honestly I don't know if I would have been brave enough to try it (if this took me hours and my family did not like it, what would I do then?) but with Tasty Bites it was easy to try some new things, you only live once why not live a little, and as grandma used to say "Try it you might like it" and I did like it, Indian and Thai food really tastes good and it sure spices up dinner!

Other favorites were the Bombay Potatoes, my husband raved over this, and I had to make sure I got a taste, he loved it so much, Tonight I will make a stew with the Rogan Josh Simmer Sauce
I am looking forward to dinner tonight, and I am sure my family will be looking forward to dinner too.

Try the Spinach Channa (spinach and chickpeas) over the Barley Medley -- dinner in three minutes. Yummy *and* full of protein.

I've enjoyed Tasty Bite entrees for over 15 years, including some favorite flavors that they don't make anymore (e.g. Malabar Mixed Vegetables a.k.a. Avial--sure miss that one). I've tried almost every flavor--except for a few of the most recent ones--and enjoy them all. One that I haven't tried, and would like to, is the Tofu Corn Masala.
