Can you believe this is the last day of summer? Where has the time gone? Well it sure has gone by fast. For the last day of summer I just wanted to share a day trip we made to Ocean City NJ in August. We love the family atmosphere Ocean City NJ has, this is not like the Jersey Shore you see on TV, this is a quiet dry town (yes no alcohol is sold on the island). It is very family friendly and they have lots do, but this particular day we just played miniature golf and took it easy strolling the boardwalk. We stopped for a snack at our favorite Ocean City eatery The Hula Grill, we have loved this place since it opened, it is just tucked away on the boardwalk but the Huli cheese fries are to die for!
As we strolled along we passed Johnson's popcorn, they have the best caramel popcorn ever.. period. They fill the bucket until it overflows with warm caramel goodness we did not get any this time but we will be back.
If you love the boardwalk and can live without grab machines and carnival games, no they don't allow "gambling" here either. Ocean City is a great place for you to go to!
