From War to Peace- Review (And a Giveaway)

About From War to Peace (from the website)

From War to Peace is dedicated to recycling weapons of war into peaceful symbols of beauty and function.  We turn bombs into beauty, hate into love, and war into peace.  Here at From War to Peace, we recycle metals from disarmed nuclear weapons systems and use it to create a wonderful alloy we call Peace Bronze. With it, we cast jewelry and other art dedicated to creating a more peaceful world.
We believe that war is failure, and that peace is triumph. At from war to peace, starting with one weapon at a time, we hope to see a demilitarized world in our lifetime.

Join us in remaking our planet into a happier and healthier home for us all.

“Turn your swords into plowshares, and nations shall know war no more.” ---Books Micah and Isiah, the Old Testament

7 Rings of Peace Earrings - Peace Bronze

In ancient times, 7 circles meant perfection. In our filagree piece, the rings of peace form a 7-pointed star, representing the peaceful unity of all nations and faiths.
An original design by Jason Main.
Each individual pendant is 1 3/8" by 1 1/2" and weighs 3 grams.
The findings are made with two gold filled jump rings and one gold filled french hook backs complete this flexible yet durable design.

My Review:

War is hell, war is ugly. It’s still ugly but it’s being made a lot less ugly by From War to Peace (http://www.fromwartopeace.com/) they make beautiful jewelry out of weapons meant to do ugly things. I received a pair of 7 Rings of Peace earrings that are made out of peace bronze which is bronze made from disarmed nuclear weapons systems.

All the metal is safe and not radioactive so don’t worry about wearing the earrings and waking up the next morning with another ear. It’s really cool to own a pair of earrings that were once nukes; it’s odd to have something hanging from my ears that could have once wiped out an entire country. It’s a little surreal. When I wore the earrings to work, I got so many complements on them, and when I told my co-workers what the earrings were made from... they were amazed. The earrings are surely a great conversation starter.

These earrings represent perfection; they also form a 7 pointed star representing the peaceful unity of all nations and faiths. They are more than just earrings; they actually represent something larger than jewelry, it’s a way to promote harmony and peace. The earrings are well made, and are light and easy to wear. Earrings are only one of the products available; along with earrings they also have necklaces, bracelets, key chains, wine stoppers, ornaments etc.  Promote peace and look good doing it.Did I mention that all of the From War the Peace jewelry is made in the USA? That is great!
