Giddy Dip ‘ems - Review (And a giveaway)

I want to introduce to a new (well new to me) snack for kids.

About Giddy Snacks (from the website)

Nothing sets us free like a tasty tour through our local Bay Area farmers market, a scenic Marin trail run, or a day on the mountains in Tahoe. The key to our happiness is pretty simple—balanced, healthy living.  Eating well is such a huge part of feeling good. We know parents want wholesome and convenient snacks for their kids, but kids often prefer the more artificial, fun options. That's why we created giddy.  We're using simple, all natural ingredients and offering them in engaging, interactive formats. We've made wholesome fun!  Our lives are hectic. Finding snacks both you and your kids love shouldn't be.

My Review:

My daughter had the chance to review a great kids snack Giddy dip ‘ems. The Dip 'Ems come in four different flavors: strawberry, grape, sour apple, and tropical. We were able to try strawberry and grape.  As soon as they arrived my daughter asked to try one, but of course we were trying to finish her homework. So I said when you are finished the home work you can try the snack. So she went right back to doing her homework (and she did not give me a hard time at all!) So as soon as she finished she was excited to open a pack.   Each pack  comes with whole grain crackers, and real fruit dip.

The crackers smelled like graham crackers, so they smelled great. The dip was a bit thinner that I thought it would be, I assumed it would be like a jelly, it is thinner than that. Having a thinner dip, makes it much easier to dip the crackers. My daughter just adored the dip and the crackers, the strawberry flavor was her favorite. As soon as she finished her snack she asked “Can I have on in my lunch box tomorrow?”.

The . Giddy dip ‘ems would be great for a picnic, or a treat in the car. It is a nice break from the sugary “fruit” snacks my daughter loves (they have no fruit, I can’t understand how they can call them fruit snacks) they are like candy. I feel much better giving her the Giddy snacks, and she seems to like them just a s much, that is great!

My daughter would have flipped over the sour apple one, we will have to find that one in the store J The Giddy snacks are sold locally at Targets across the US.
