The Protein Bakery Review (And a Giveaway)

About the Protein Bakery (from the website)

Mass consumption? Sounds good to us-- just as long as the recipes are from our kitchen! Why? Because for 10 years we've gotten expert at creating delicious and healthy snacks that make your body's engine work better. (So say our loyal and enthusiastic customers and Oprah, Rosie, and the Wicked ones on Broadway.) Our idea is simple: use the highest quality, natural ingredients, baked to perfection. Don't add any preservatives or flavors. And as our name suggests-- we use the purest whey protein isolate available. Each cookie, brownie, blondie has more protein and a few less carbohydrates than most snacks available. This nutritional balance prevents a heart rate change and won't spike your blood sugar. Also of note: for people with wheat allergies, our products are wheat free. We do this by using rolled oats, which in turn adds dietary fiber. (Which is good for every body.)

Mass production? Not on our planet! Not as long as we're shipping our tasty treats on a daily basis. No way! Like other premier bakeries, we produce all our baked goods in small batches. Which ensures they're always sent to you fresh.

My Review:

It’s important to eat right but it’s also good to be able to treat yourself every now and again with a treat. It’s necessary to eat right and to take care of your body but sometimes you have to give into your indulgences and just eat a cookie or a brownie; too much deprivation  will eventually drive you nuts!
I’m always looking for new things to help fuel my body, and with the help of the amazing bakers at Protein Bakery (http://www.proteinbakery.com/) I have fuel for my body and am able to satisfy my sweet-tooth at the same time!
A time not too long ago I would eat half gallons of ice cream with maple syrup poured into it just for fun; I’d eat a whole box of Fruity Pebbles after dinner just because. I was a mess, a sloppy mess. We were looking at pictures from a trip to WDW and I saw myself and I was taken back at just how bad I looked, and I vowed to myself I would lose the weight and not be that person in those pictures anymore. It’s been 2 years and I’ve kept that weight off and I’m not looking back. I received a package of goodies from them and was impressed with the selection of sweets I had and the fact that they’re loaded with protein was just the icing on the cake er brownie is this case!

Only problem is being more health conscience means I don’t have a ton of options when it comes to healthy treats. My care package from Protein Bakery made me look at healthy treats in a different light. I expect healthier options to taste like a shoe, bland no taste and not fun to eat. Not only are the treats form the Protein Bakery good they give me fuel to help me get though my workouts, so I’m filling my tank and giving my sweet-tooth what it craves. It’s killing two birds with one cookie really. Cookies (both small and large,) brownies (both chocolate and blondie,) are a few of the products available from their site and the flavors are plentiful. But my personal favorite of the lot was the peanut butter white chip cookies, these cookies were just off the charts!

Not only was the peanut butter taste strong and easy to identify (something that is usually lost in healthier options) but it had peanuts in it! What a way to make a great cookie an AWESOME cookie!  I was totally blown away by all their products I was sent but these cookies were truly special. And the best thing of all was after I ate the cookies I didn’t feel guilty about doing it! If you’re in the process of losing weight or if you’re in a holding pattern of if you’re just looking to improve your eating habits visit the Protein Bakery they’ll have what you want to make eating better a little easier.
