Talenti Gelato - Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you a big ice cream fan, well you must try gelato from the people who do it best, Talenti,

About Talenti (from the website)

Talenti began as a gelateria in 2003 and has since grown into the best-selling gelato in the US. Taking inspiration from Argentine helado - gelato brought to Argentina by Italian immigrants in the early 20th century, Talenti is made with the same uncompromising commitment to quality and artisanship that distinguished Italian gelato in the pre-WWII era.

Our gelato is made with fresh, hormone-free milk and only pure cane sugar. Not only is it delicious, but with 30% less fat than regular ice cream, it’s also a healthier alternative. Our sorbetto is dairy free and 100% fat free and also made with pure cane sugar—never high-fructose corn syrup. Both Talenti’s sorbettos and gelatos showcase our commitment to providing wholesome, all-natural, frozen desserts that taste amazing.

My Review:

I could sit here and give you a lot of fluff about Talenti (http://talentigelato.com/default.aspx) but I’m just going to get to the point quick. It is without a doubt the best tasting frozen ice cream/gelato I’ve ever had. Creamy, flavorful, incredible, wickedly delicious easily the best frozen treat I’ve had.
We picked up a couple of pints (Tahitian Vanilla Bean and Double Dark Chocolate) from Wegman’s on Sunday afternoon they didn’t make it to Monday. Just to let you know I’m a vanilla guy, I love vanilla ice cream Baskin Robbins has 52 flavors and I always pick vanilla. But in fairness to be able to do a good job on the review I didn’t get 2 vanillas I picked up a chocolate too.

Again I’m not a big chocolate guy, I like it but I can live without it. So when I tell you this chocolate gelato is wickedly evil tasting believe me, I took my first spoonful and was instantly transfixed on the flavor. It was amazing; I looked at my wife and said this could turn me into a chocolate guy.
Then I ate the vanilla……….WOW. Without a doubt the best vanilla ice cream/gelato in the world! I’ve always been a Breyer’s vanilla bean fan, it’s good ice cream but the Talenti gelato is so creamy, so smooth, so tasty that it should be illegal. When the first 6 letters of your name spell TALENT you better deliver and Talenti delivers.
