Yala Designs Review (And a Giveaway)

About Yala (from the website)

The idea came: to nurture and protect us in our unfamiliar sleeping circumstances, we stitched together two well-worn sheets as a clean and comforting liner for wherever we laid our heads. We slept cozy each night dreaming of the next day’s adventure. And every morning awoke, rolled up our “dreamsack”, and started off again.

Those stitched together sheets became the first DreamSack®. And in 1996 we became a family company. Now many years and many ideas and creations later, that same curiosity and care goes into everything we make at Yala. From classics that make sleeping more sumptuous to soft, nurturing layers that provide the simple elegance you crave. They are the clothes you really live your life in.

We believe the dreams we have at night point us down our path. So while we’re still traveling without a map, we never venture anywhere without the sincere hope that someday our journey joins with yours, our paths will cross, and we will meet.

Yala does not only sell great clothing, they also have other great items as well, the DreamSack here is one of my favorites. This would be great to travel with! It would be like being in your own bed on the road, and that feeling is priceless.

An  environmentally friendly company that cares about the environment and has a great selection of items, does this place exist? I am here  to say, yes it is true it does exist.  At http://www.yaladesigns.com/ On top of the great products I love that the company is a family-owned who keeps in touch with their factories and bamboo groves as much as they can. Yala also supports over a dozen local and global organizations. This is just a wonderful company.

I had the chance  to review the Bamboo Dreams Charlotte Tunic and a pair of Bamboo Dreams Leggings. The Charlotte tunic top  is soft and lovely. I cannot describe the feel of bamboo clothing, it you have never had the pleasure of owning bamboo clothing, it is just the most soft and silky in a way.  The leggings were easy to wear, and did not strangle my legs like leggings I have had in the past, the leggings were as soft and easy to wear as the tunic. The bamboo clothing is made from organically formed bamboo that is stain, wrinkle, and odor-resistant, and that will make your bamboo clothes your favorite clothing items!

I wore the outfit for the first time over the weekend. My daughters friend had a birthday bowling party. I will spare you the picture of me bowling badly (no pun intended). The outfit was the most comfortable I have ever been bowling. Even though I was comfortable, that did not make me bowl any better. (I bowled a 49… it is embarrassing but I am not a good bowler, it is nothing like it is on the wii J) The other mothers at the party complemented me on the outfit, they loved the look.  I loved the look, it can be dressed up with jewelry or it can just be a casual outfit, both ways it looks great.  I will be buying more bamboo clothes from Yala Designs in the future. I was so impressed with the quality, they are like no other.

Yala has so many beautiful eco-friendly clothing items, they also sell home goods, bedding and accessories;  such as bamboo sheets and comforters. The products are of  high quality and  well-made.   I love the idea of the  DreamSacks they look so soft and comforting., I would love one as a gift (hint hint for a my husband)

I recommend Yala Designs, they have a great selection of quality items. With the holidays coming up fast (they will be here before you know it) Yala is a great place to shop for gifts, from robes to sweaters to gorgeous kids clothing. And if you are not sure what you want to buy the great folks at Yala will help you figure it out, they just ask you to email them, and they will help you choose. What other company does that? None that I know of, just Yala, see I told you they were great!
