Nutrisystem Week #3 #NSNation

Well it is time for my weekly Nutrisystem update.  I can’t believe it has been 3 weeks. The time has just flown by.

This was a particularly  hard week for me. There was candy candy candy everywhere. I guess everyone wanted the Halloween candy out of the house, so they broght it into work. So there was candy everywhere this week. But I have turned a blind eye to the candy, it has been hard.. But I  did it.

I have noticed that I am eating less. And feeling full faster, so this is great I know my stomach is shrinking and this diet is working. I have tried some new things this week, some of my favorites are:

Breakfast: Garden vegetable Omelet

Lunch: Cheese Tortellini

Dinner: Pizza

Dessert: Chocolate cake

I am loving the food so far. I have had no problems with the food, it tastes good, and it fills me up. The lunches are so easy for me to eat at work, they travel well and are easy to make, and easy to eat at my lunch hour.  The pizza, and other Italian sauce items are great! Of course I love all of the desert options, the ice cream with chocolate sauce is divine!  However I have come up with a meal that I was not a fan of Sweet and Sour chicken, it was full of water chestnuts… I am not a fan…. The food is not bad, but I cannot stomach the crunchy water chestnuts. Just a personal opinion.

After the weight I have lost, I am starting to see a small difference in the way my clothing fits. First I have noticed how my bras are getting big, I am able to tighten the back of the bra to the 2nd latch.. I have not been able to do that for years! This may not seem like a major thing, but it is to me

So down to the weigh in. How did I do?? Well here it goes:

Pounds Lost this week: 2

Total lost: 9 lbs

I did not make it to the 10 lbs I was hoping to make it to. But that is ok. 2 pounds is still great. It was that time of the month for me, and I am retaining  water and I feel bloated. So 2 libs is still a great accomplishment for me.  I am going out to eat next weekend. I will be using the tips from the Nutrisystem guide, so we shall see how I do next week. I think I will be ok… I have learned so much about good portion sizes and the right and wrong things to eat.. I can do this!
