Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink Review (And a Giveaway)

Have you ever had a sick child that you just want to get better and to comfort? Well I have found something that can sooth a cough and help your child sleep. I would like to introduce you to Zarbee’s:

Zarbee's is the fastest-growing children's cough and cold brand in the country.  Developed by Dr. Zak Zarbock, one of the country's top pediatricians, and recommended by pediatricians nationwide, Zarbee's products are all-natural, drug-free and made from antioxidant-rich buckwheat honey, which clinical trials have shown to be the safest and most effective treatment for relieving coughs in children.

Developed by Dr. Zak Zarbock, one of the country's top pediatricians, Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink is made from antioxidant-rich buckwheat honey, which recent clinical studies have shown is more effective at relieving coughs associated with colds and upper respiratory illnesses than Dextromethorphan (DM) or diphenhydramine, the two most common ingredients in over-the-counter cough medicines.
Concerns about the safety and efficacy of Dextromethorphan have been raised since the ingredient was recently banned for use in children four years of age and younger. DM is currently under FDA review for being ineffective and potentially unsafe for children of all ages and is not supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In addition to buckwheat honey, Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink contains immune-boosting Vitamin C, zinc and elderberry and a small amount of melatonin, which research shows safely and naturally helps kids fall asleep.  Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink is gluten free, contains no alcohol, drugs or dyes, has no side effects and carries no risk of overdose.
"Kids who are sick don't sleep well, yet rest is crucial to recovery," says Dr. Zak, as he is known by his patients. "As both a pediatrician and the father of four boys between the ages of three and 11, I know how difficult it is to have a sick child at home. You want them to feel better and rest, but you don't want to put anything into their bodies that could be harmful. That's why I created Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink. It's the safest, gentlest and most effective remedy kids can take for coughs and sore throats due to the common cold."
According to Dr. Zak, cough is the number one symptom driving visits to the pediatrician. Children under the age of six average six to 10 colds per year (and up to one per month during the September-to-April time period), with symptoms lasting an average of 14 days.
Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink comes in a convenient powder that is ready to be mixed with two ounces of soothing warm water.

My Review:

This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. It seems like my little girl has caught a cold/cough from some of the sick children at school.

I love that I can give my daughter a more natural medicine that has honey, Vitamin C in it.  Another important thing with children’s medicine for me is the taste. If the medicine tastes bad, my daughter does not care if it will help her (much like most kids) she just will not take it, and it is a struggle for her to get the medicine she needs. Would Zarbee’s taste great like they claim? I hoped so! Last night followed the directions and mixed the pack and got it ready for my daughter to drink.

At first she said eeeww medicine! I told her that this should be good and it would help her. She was willing to try a sip… and she ended up drinking the whole dose with no struggle. As a mom that is the best feeling, knowing your child took the medicine, and will be seeing the results shortly. Soon after, she went to sleep. And slept soundly without a cough.

I would recommend Zarbee's Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink for all children. It is alcohol free, and my daughter loved the taste!
