Kidlandia - Review

Are you looking for some great personalized items? Well I have a great company to introduce to you. Kidlandia, they have so many great items that could be personalized. Here is a little more information about Kidlandia from the Website:

The founder of Kidlandia, illustrator and entrepreneur Brian Backus, has been living in a fantasy world of maps and monsters since he was a very little boy.

Kidlandia grew out of Brian’s 2004 concept to create personalized maps of imaginary kingdoms for children’s rooms. He believed that by providing children their own kingdoms, with friendly monsters as companions, kids would gain an increased sense of confidence, control, and self-worth. In addition, by naming the cities, islands, and other features of the kingdoms after family and friends, kids would feel more connected to those who love them. Brian, who produced educational multimedia titles for Disney and Voyager, was also intrigued by the idea that by engaging kids in namesake kingdoms, he could motivate them to understand maps, and accelerate reading skills.

Kidladia gives you the opportunity to make personalized puzzles, maps, canvas door hanging maps. At Kidlandia they have some of your children's favorite characters too, Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, The Disney Princesses, Veggietales and more, along with their own little critter they are called Kreatures.

There are so many items I love from the site, here are a few of my favorites:

I was very fortunate to be able to review a personalized mug and a personalized pillowcase.

My Review:

I love the personalized items on the Kidlandia site, they are not the usual personalized items you can get elsewhere, these items are fun and have popular characters on them. My daughter just loves the Disney Princesses and Kidlandia  has a great selection of Princess Maps and other items. I love the Kreatures, they are cute little critters from “Kidlandia” .

I picked a mug with the cute little girl (well I think it is a girl, it has little girly eyelashes). I love that the mug has my name, or my version of a Kreatures name Susanthumble I love the mug, the mug is a nice size (a little larger than my usual coffee mug, so that just means I can drink more coffee right?) I know I am just a kid at heart, but this mug makes me smile when I use it.  This is my go to mug, it is great!

My daughter was fortunate to be able to review one of the personalized pillowcases, the pillow case has a drawing of my daughters “kingdom”, I was able to choose a girl theme for the pillow (the colors are more “girly”) and with my daughter being the biggest “girly” girl I know, she loved it! (Don’t worry they have boy colors for this pillow too) she loves her pillow, the pillow lists her as being the ruler of her “land” and the pillow has the national holiday as her birthday, she loves that!

On top of how cool the pillow is, it is well made and it is a quality product.

So if you are looking for a unique gift Kidlandia is the place for you. You could pick up a personalized place mat, a growth chart and they even have adorable stuffed Kreatures now at FAO Schwartz! You can pick them up at the store or online.
