Well here we are at week 10 Nutrisystem. Wow week 10 really?
I have to admit this was the easiest holiday to get by so far… Christmas is a big deal in my family, we really go all out. My family makes a huge meal, and all kinds of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Along with the candies and cookies that fill the house as well. Well I did well avoiding this all, what did I do you ask? Well first I made sure I had my Nutrisystem breakfast in the morning, and before we left to go over my parents’ house for the festivities I had my Nutrisystem lunch, chicken quesadillas. They were delicious and filling. So when I arrived, I was not hungry and I did not feel like picking and eating.
And my little secret is…. Bake, bake, bake! I personally do not really like to eat what I bake. Because I spend so much time rolling, kneading mixing etc., that when it comes time for the baked goods, or cookies etc to be done… I am done with them. I just want to give them to my family and that is it. So I made a ton of sweets. Baked my heart out! And brought the sweets to my parents to be enjoyed by others (not by me!). And this worked for me. No dessert except my Nutrisystem chocolate bar (which I really enjoy) for Christmas dessert! Yay!
So how am I doing? Pretty good.. Well before I tell you I have to show you this:
Aww, isn’t she a cutie! She is a real incentive to keep me on the program. She shows me that I can do it! And I am doing it. And if I can do it so can you.
Did you know that the new Nutrisystem spokesperson is non-other that Janet Jackson! Wow! What a great role model! Perhaps one day I can have a body like hers. Anything is possible, right?
So my weight loss is:
Lost so far – 21 lbs
Lost this week – 3 lbs!!!
For a total of 24 pounds!
WOW my little bear is going to get a sibling very soon I just know it! The 30 pound mark is not that far away (I can’t believe I just said that, it is unbelievable!).
