Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Hair Oil – Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you looking for a great conditioner, or something that will help with your dry scalp? I have a great product for you TropicalTraditions Virgin  coconut oil for your hair.

Here is some more information about Tropical Traditions coconut oil from the website:

This Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil. This coconut oil is made on Mt. Banahaw and surrounding areas from organic coconuts. Coconuts are used fresh (within 24-48 hours of harvest) from small family farms on Mt. Banahaw and other rural places in Quezon Province, the coconut capital of the Philippines. Only the highest quality coconuts are hand-picked from each harvest. The volcanic soil of Mt. Banahaw makes these organic coconuts some of the most nutritionally rich coconuts in the world!

Suggested Uses:

For dry scalp: Rub into hair and scalp at least 30 minutes before showering, or before bed at night. Wear a shower cap or towel to protect bedding.

As a hair conditioner: Rub into the ends of your hair after washing, while the hair is still wet. Apply as needed, working towards the scalp. It can also be used as a pre-wash hair treatment applying just before showering.
Excellent for ALL hair types!

My Review:

I was very fortunate to be able to review the Tropical Traditions Virgin  coconut oil, as soon as it arrived. I just had to try this on my daughters hair. My daughter has quite a mop of hair on her head. She gets her thick and crazy hair from my husband. My hair is thin and straight.. nothing like my daughters thick and fluffy and just wild hair.  I am always looking for ways to tame her hair, it is just so hard to style because it is everywhere.

I have heard great things about Coconut Oil for the Hair. I have always wanted to see if what I heard was true, was it really that great for your hair? I have to say when I opened the jar, the smell was so wonderful! It just reminded me of going to the beach. It was a great natural smell. I loved it.

Well I tried this on my daughters hair, kind of like a conditioner. But I warn you do not use a lot, like you might with your current conditioner… A little goes a long way with this conditioner. I massaged this oil on the tips of her hair. And rinsed well.   I loved the way her hair came out. It was very shiny and a plus was her hair was easier to brush. This worked very well to tame her tangles.

I would recommend Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Hair Oil if you would like a great conditioner, that also is a great detangler. I just am impressed with the results, and I will continue to use this.
