Zero Game - Review

Are you looking for a unique game for adults (well people ages 12 and up) well I have a great new game for you.  The new ZERO game! Here is a little information about the Zero game from the website:

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be a complete zero, then this game is for you. It's a fun and exciting family game that asks players to search their minds for the least popular answer to questions about pop culture, sports, music, geography and more.
We created Zero by asking more than 450 people in the US, the UK, Australia and Mexico the answer to each question in the game. Then we tabulated their answers and assigned percentages from 100% to 5% based on the ranked popularity of their answers.

Now, you and your friends can match wits with the game developers to see who comes up with the "least" likely answer. Each Zero game card lists all of the correct answers to each question and points are awarded based on the popularity of the answer. The winner is the player who scores closest to zero when the game ends.

My Review:

Have you ever played a game where the point was to score the lease points? Well I haven’t until  now!  The point of Zero is not to score the most points, but it is to score the least points! Well that is surely different.  I played the game with my husband the other night, and we had such a good time!  People are surveyed with random questions, and to play you ask your opponent  the question and if they pick the answer that  0 people gave.

Then you win that question. It is pretty neat, and harder than you would think. Some of the questions… I can’t believe that some people did not mention the particular answer! The game was way over my 7 year olds head, but mommy and daddy had a good time guessing the lease popular answers. Well who scored the lowest? Me! Yay me. My husband wants a rematch, that is ok I would love to play again : ) This would be great at a party, this would really get everyone to have fun together.  If you are headed to a holiday party this year,  why not pick up this game.

ZERO is available through Toys R Us and other major toy retailers. From now till January 31, 2012, University Games is sponsoring a sweepstakes where the Grand Prize is a weekend trip for two to San Francisco. You can sign up through the Zero website.
