Gourmet Frother, Froth Au Lait – Review (and a Giveaway)

Are you a coffee lover like I am? Do you love frothy delicious drinks? Do you also like to cook and make sauces and desserts? Well I have a great company to introduce you to Froth Au Lait. Here is a little information about Froth Au Lait from the website:

Froth Au Lait, Inc. was founded in 2001 to simplify the way in which cappuccinos and lattes were prepared at home and in commercial environments. We were aware that the taste and aroma of specialty coffee was captivating the market, but that Cappuccino machines were a pain to use and cleaning them was a tedious process. The ‘jewel’ of any beverage, the froth, was a coveted topping that was perceived as extremely difficult to whip up.

We set out to solve this problem and make froth preparation easy, quick and automatic. We are proud to say that we were successful in this endeavor. Happily, we developed our patented ‘Froth Whip’ process, and today, our frothers prepare luxurious froth for cappuccinos and lattes in homes and businesses around the globe. This breakthrough technology requires no steam and avoids any type of mess. Our collection of frothers is an impressive range that will benefit both homes and commercial settings. The MINI™ and Gourmet bring specialty coffee with creamy froth toppings and more to the comfort of your home.

I was very fortunate to be able to review, a Gourmet Frother, from  Froth Au Lait

Experience Versatile Hot and Cold Gourmet™ Frothing on demand and prepare specialty coffee, rich hot chocolate, velvety whipped cream, gourmet desserts, and luscious sauces. Froth Whip Technology (FWT™) creates the perfect froth for 4-6 servings. Froth wands for beverage and sauce frothing included. Discover the possibilities!

My Review:

If you know me, you know I love my coffee drinks. Now I just don’t like any plain old coffee, I am a specialty coffee drinker. And as a working mother I get up each day and make my plain old coffee (that is just ok) or I get myself out of the door, and make it to work and then pick up a coffee in town. This can be costly. Getting this frequently really adds up to lots of $ spent. But what can I do? It is my only “treat” for myself.  Well I have my solution!   Gourmet Frother, from Froth Au Lait. This is my money saver!

I love how easy this is to use. All you have to do is, Pour in the cold milk, start the frothing cycle, then pour out the hot milk and spoon out the froth. So very easy! But how will it taste? Well I could not wait to try this out.

I have to say I was quite impressed at the thickness of the froth, it really made me feel like a barista! And cleanup was very easy so that was a plus for me.

The frother also came with a free vanilla syrup. So I made a Cold Flavored Froth Au Lait, it was made with milk, syrup and sugar. It turned out to be fantastic, rich thick and delicious.

I knew my daughter would love this on hot chocolate so I made her a cup of hot chocolate with froth. After a very cold day in the northeast, my daughter just loved the warm pick me up when she came home from school.

The size of the gourmet is the perfect size for my counter. I will be using this little wonder often!  I can’t wait to make homemade whipped cream! I think that will be pretty impressive! And the hollandaise and Remoulade Sauce recipes from the site sound delicious. I will surely be making them!

I would recommend this frother for cooks and drink lovers, what a great gift this would be, a great gift for yourself or a loved one.  This was really a hit in my house!
Those coffee places in town are sure going to miss there steady customer. But I don’t miss them! I don’t miss the lines, or the $$ I had to spend there.

So if you are looking for a way to make your dinks more delicious. A Gourmet Frother is for you, remember the Gourmet Frotheris so much more than a drink frother, you can make whip cream gourmet desserts, and luscious sauces. And if you are looking for a smaller frother that just helps you with your frothing of beverages, they carry a Mini Frother for $79.99.

I learned that FTW is a patented, no steam process, utilizes counter-rotating whips to efficiently aerate milk into uniquely rich and thick froth.

And I have to echo what everyone else says. That hot chocolate looks delicious. Especially this time of year given how cold it is by me. Thanks for the chance!

Wow, the possibilities, when I first saw this giveaway I thought it would be cool for my husband's coffee but after going to the website and checking out all of the recipes I realize this would hold a prominent spot on our counter! I would love to try their whipped cream recipes, I love homemade whipped cream but it is such a hassle to make and I never thought of adding flavors like they suggest.

I don't have a blog so I couldn't grab your button, but can I tell you it is one of the cutest buttons I have ever seen? Would it count (or would it just be creepy) if I used it as my desktop? LOL.
