Wednesday, January 25, 2012 Review (And a giveaway)

Himalayan Salt Shop is a great shop for unique products. A salt shop? Yes salt can be used for so much more than flavoring food. Here is a little more information about the great salt lamps sold at the Himalayan Salt Shop, from the website.

  • The lamps are made of natural crystal salt mined from underground salt mines in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains
  • Salt lamps are said to help clean the air in your home.
  • Heat from the light bulbs causes the salt to emit negative ions which neutralizes the pollutants in the air
  • These lamps can also lesson symptoms from asthma and allergies

I was fortunate to be able to review a Himalayan Salt Lamp.

My Review:

This lamp is so very unique, and I love it.

The lamp is currently on our kitchen table, we have a nice sized table and the lamp looks great right in the middle of the table. The lamp has such a warm glow to it. The light is not strong enough to light up the room mind you… but it really has a cool look when lit.

My daughter would love to have one for a nightlight, and she is trying to get this lamp for her room.  And my husband thinks it is just about the coolest lamp ever. It is neat, and I love that this may just clear the air in the house, so this is a great lamp.
I am very happy with this, and I would recommend getting one for yourself. If you are not looking for a lamp, there are so many other great items on the site as well. You will surely find something that will make a good gift.

If you are looking for a unique gift, these lamps would make a wonderful gift. With  Valentine’s day right around the corner (it will be here before you know it) why not pick up a unique and special gift for that special someone?

I follow you on GFC, but there was no place for me to put it was from Randominities. Your form has been locking up on me and I had to reload to put in my twitter info. I think it's fairly common glitch of Rafflecopter.
