 My Review:

Dessert it’s what we get to eat for making it though dinner and we received a whole bunch of delicious rewards for making it though dinner from Alecia’s Bakery I just wish our dinner tasted this delicious! Wow where to start….it really was a lot of goodies several kinds of cookies and brownies one better than the next.
I knew as soon as I read the label on the cookie (spicy gingersnap) a certain someone would claim it as his and not share, I was right. If it has cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger anything with a little spice my husband is all over it and he was and yummed the whole time (about 1 second) he ate the cookie, I wouldn’t call it eat more like inhale. Eggnog, chocolate speculoos and dark chocolate sea salt were the other flavors of cookie; we shared those so I actually got a taste of them. The eggnog cookie is crazy good; it’s like Christmas in cookie form it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling, I’ve never had that reaction from a cookie before.

The chocolate speculoos was like a chocolate gingersnap with almonds (I neglected to let my husband know it had a nice gingerish flavor.) That cookie was different in a good way, I’ve never had a cookie with that level of complexity in flavor, it really was a delicious cookie. And the dark chocolate sea salt….you had me at sea salt! There is something about salty and sweet that just seems to work so perfectly and this cookie is the right balance of sweet and salty. It was a round piece of nirvana.
The brownies were perfectly baked; they had just the right amount of softness and yet still had that great brownie crusty top. Chocolate mint was scarfed down by my husband; mint is another one of those “ooh that’s mine!” I swear I married a child sometimes… I got to share the German chocolate brownie with my daughter and she was quite happy to see that it had cocoanut on it she really flipped for this brownie she loves cocoanut as much as I do.

All in all if you’re looking to treat yourself to something that is well decadent, bursting with flavor and just good stop by Alecia’s bakery and treat yourself! And you will feel great in doing this, because you are giving to help animals with each purchase, this is so great!
