Jolly Llama Sorbet Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you looking for a healthy treat for yourself or your children? Well I would love to introduce you to The Jolly Llama The Peaceful Treat. Here is a little more information about The Jolly Llama from the website:

Scott Jacobson started The Jolly Llama Company with the idea he could make the most delicious frozen treats in a healthier way, by using only the highest quality all natural ingredients. This simple approach came out of Scott’s many years working as a Chef, where the ultimate purpose was to make food that tasted as good as possible. And the only way to ever do this is to use the most wholesome ingredients.

The Jolly Llama wants people to simply be able to enjoy delicious frozen treats without having to worry about the bad stuff, like refined sweeteners or artificial flavors - peace of mind from “The Peaceful Treat” Company.
Jolly Llama’s Sorbet Squeezups come in a fun, no mess 3 oz squeeze-up tube, and are made from actual whole fruits, not juices or concentrates. As a result they burst with the refreshing, real taste of sun-ripened fruit while retaining the rich store of nutrients nature intended.

The have 6 amazing flavors:
-Banana/Coconut *New Flavor*
-Mango
-Peach *New Flavor*
-Strawberry
-Raspberry
-Blueberry

My Review:

My daughter just loves ice pops, but I do not love all of the sugar that are in those treats. I was very fortunate to be able to try some new (well new to me) frozen treats, that are much more healthy than those other pops my daughter has had in the past. The Jolly Llama, has a great selection of fruity pops that are made with real fruit. And they have no artificial flavors. But would they taste good? We could not wait to go shopping and find out. After fining the pops at a local shop we were able to try the  Strawberry pops. I love that the pops are:

  • Allergen Free
  • Dairy Free
  • Fat Free (except for Banana Coconut)
  • Gluten Free
  • Non-GMO verified

The only problem I had with the pops was, it was kind of hard to find them, they are not available at any of our close local shops (but the may hopefully be one day?) we had to really look to find them. But they were worth the hunt, my daughter loved the strawberry pop.

It was nice to see her grab the healthy pop and ignore the unhealthy pops we have (the bad pops are going out in the next trash pickup). I tried a pop too, and I have to say I enjoyed it, the real fruit flavor shone through. Yes they tasted great.  I am always on a diet, so these pops are great for me in my quest to lose weight, I can get a sweet treat, that is not bad for me. And I think that is great. So the next flavor we are going to look for is the Banana/Coconut. This must be delicious, it would remind me of the islands for sure!
