Nutrisystem Week #18 #NSNation

Well here we are at week 18 Nutrisystem. What a crazy week I have had. Well first the week started out with Valentine’s day. Well what is Valentine’s day really? A chance to eat out, and eat chocolate. That is not what I am really looking for these days. So I skipped eating out this year, and opted for a quite romantic dinner at home.

This was a nice change from the crowed overpriced restaurants of the past Valentines dates (you know they regularly have Valentine’s day menus which feature higher prices) I was fine with my meal, everything was going well.. Until….. my loving hubby bought me fancy expensive brownies for a sweet Valentine’s day treat. I love the sentiment, but brownies, they are my downfall :(. I know he meant well, and he knows I love the brownies but I don’t want to eat them.

I have been sharing them, so I can have a taste but not all of them. In the past I may have eaten the whole pack in a day or two (I know that is bad!)

So beside that bad (but delicious) mishap, I enjoyed some of my favorites food this week:

Honey Wheat Bagel - this is new to me, I love bagels! And this sure is good.

Chef's Table™ Adobo Rubbed Pork - the pork has a nice slightly salty flavor, it is delicious.

So I have politely asked my hubby to not buy me any more sweets no matter what the occasion. I don’t want to seem mean, I really appreciate it, but I guess I appreciate the sweets too much if you know what I mean?

I am so looking forward to shopping for my new spring clothes. While in the mall, I see that the spring clothes are in almost all of the stores. And there are so many styles that I may not have felt comfortable wearing last spring but now I feel better about myself.  The only problem I have is that, I am continuing to lose weight, what do I do? Do I wait until I hit my goal? Or do I buy some new spring clothes now? I am so confused! Well I guess this is a good problem to have right? I guess for now I will “shop” in the basement. Do you have a multiple size collection of clothes stored away like I do?  I have a mini store in the basement, with an assortment of sizes from small to extra-large. My mission this week is to weed out the larger clothes in my collection, because I do not want to have to go back to wearing them. And getting rid of them says there is no turning back. There is no gaining the weight back! My “fat” clothes will be gone!

So those brownies did not help me with my goals this week. But I am happy to say the brownies are gone! Done! Out of the house!!! Please no more I cannot take it!

So how did I do this week.

I lost 0 lbs. Boo hooo :( Well I did stray a bit, ok a lot with the brownies. I am glad that I did not gain weight this week. Back to normal next week, thank goodness!
