OCHO Organic Candy Bars - Review (And a Giveaway)

We are a candy loving family. Yes this is true. But I hate all of the bad things that are in candy. And I hate to give all of that junk to my daughter. If you are in the search for a more natural bar with organic ingredients like I was, I would like to introduce you all to the OCHO bar, here is a little information about the bars from the website:

One Halloween two dads were talking and wondered why they couldn’t find a better candy bar for their kids. They wanted a candy bar that was made from organic, wholesome ingredients and had no preservatives, additives and artificial flavors.

Reasons why we think OCHO candy is the perfect choice for you.
1. We believe in the candy bar - candy bars should be fun and delicious.
2. We believe that our customers should not have to eat candy bars that have preservatives, additives and artificial flavors.
3. We believe small is the new big - our bars are a bit smaller in size, but bigger in taste, freshness and fine ingredients.
4. We believe that candy bars should be made by candy makers and confectioners and not by food scientists or large conglomerates.
5. We believe that being passionate about making delicious, organic candy bars is our secret ingredient.
6. We believe that life is short and there can never be too many moments of celebration and happiness. Have an OCHO bar and enjoy your day!

My Review:

Now I know what you are thinking… this can’t be true a candy bar that is organic, has wholesome ingredients and has No preservatives, additives, or artificial flavors? Bars that are handcrafted like bars were many years ago? Oh yes it is possible! But can they also be delicious? Well I was very fortunate to be able to review a variety box of OCHO Bars the box contained:

Coconut
Caramel and Peanuts
Mocha
Peanut Butter bars

My family are chocolate lovers, so they can be picky with chocolate sometimes. Being from PA we have been to chocolate world many times : ) and they could not wait to try the bars, first up to try was the,

Mocha OCHO Bar – I am a coffee lover, and this bar was amazing. Just the right amount of  chocolate and coffee, it was a really yummy pick me up. My husband is not as big of a fan of coffee as I am (but he is coming around) and he still loved the bar.

Coconut OCHO Candy Bar- I am not a lover of dark chocolate, it is just too bitter for me. The only time I eat dark chocolate is when I have a Mounds bar, because the dark chocolate and coconut go so well together. Well this bar tastes just like a mounds bar! It is amazing, and delicious. My daughter just adored this bar, she is a dark chocolate fan, I don’t know who she got that from?

Peanut Butter OCHO Candy Bar- Peanut butter rules. I am sorry, peanut butter makes me feel like a kid again, it is just something I grew up with and I love. And peanut butter and chocolate well that was a marriage made in heaven.  And this bar did not disappoint.  Smooth and creamy and chocolaty. Yum Yum.

Caramel and Peanuts OCHO Bar – I loved the peanuts and the caramel, it was sweet with a little crunch from the peanuts. I is the ultimate candy bar, this was by far my husband’s favorite. I shared the other with my mother in law who raved about the delicious chocolate taste.

So if you are looking for a delicious treat with no preservatives, additives, or artificial flavors make sure to check out OCHO Organic Candy Bars. This would be a great addition to an Easter basket, (Easter is right around the corner it will be here before you know it!)  this yummy better for you chocolate is better than a boring egg any day!  From peanut butter, to coconut, to caramel, to mocha there is a bar for every taste, as long as you love chocolate bars you will love this treat!
