Oransi’s Fridge Purifier – Review (And a Giveaway)

Do you love to cook? Well I sure do. But one problem for a cook like me is the dreaded stinky refrigerator.  Well I have found something that change that refrigerator for the better. I would love to introduce you to the Oransi’s Fridge Purifier. Here is a little information about the Oransi company from the website:

Oransi, based in Austin, TX, develops green cleaning products such as air purifiers to clean the air so you and those around you can breathe easier, sleep better and feel rejuvenated. The number of children and adults who suffer from allergies and asthma has continued to increase and our air purifiers provide high performance without the features you really don’t need. We also sell highly efficient laundry cleaning products that are better for you, your wallet and the environment.  We are a leader in innovation with our products and business model where our sales and customer service reps are part-time “stay at home moms” similar to JetBlue. In addition, we believe in giving back to our community and donate 5% of our income to promote student interest in science, engineering and math so they can develop even better cleaning products for future generations.

1. Save money – for starters there are no replacement filters and nothing to clean.  The air purifier uses 2 AA batteries that require replacement approximately every 45-90 days.  Built-in micro processor controls the operation of the air purifier so it will cycle on and off to save battery life.

2. Silent – no fans.

3. Intuitive.

4. Effective in the removal of odors and bacteria to keep your refrigerator smelling fresh and your food fresher.

5. Conveniently fits anywhere in your refrigerator.

6. Attractive neutral color and cool contemporary design.

7. Easy operating instructions:
  • Turn it on
  • Freshen your refrigerator
8. Patented Piezo-electric technology:  allows for a high negative ion output to freshen your refrigerator without the harmful side effects of ozone that is found in standard ionizers.

9. Safety:  The Ionic Fridge air purifier has received safety certifications from GS and CE as well as the RoHS lead free directive.  Made of durable fire-resistant ABS materials.  Tested for ozone production by ITI (Industrial Research Technology Institute) and found to be 0.011 ppm which is 78% below FDA limits.

10. Operating costs: Ionic Fridge purifier average battery costs:  $1/month.

My Review:

I love to cook, I love to make all things from a fish dish to a cherry pie. The problem I have been having was the smells intermingling in the refrigerator. There is nothing worse than a cherry pie that kind of smells/tastes like fish. Ugh all that hard work with the baking is just for nothing. But now I have my solution. An Oransi’s Fridge Purifier. As soon as this arrived I could not wait, to put the batteries in it, and put in in the refrigerator.

This small wonder is only 4″x2.8″x2.5″ but it does its job well.  I have been using this for a while now, and I have really noticed a difference in my refrigerator. The bad smells seemed to have disappeared. It is amazing.  So instead of buying that little orange box all the time, I will just use this fridge purifier, I think this even works better than the other guys!  This is so very easy to use, all you have to do is put in in fridge let it do its job, then you have to change the batteries at times and that is it.

I love that this is small, so when my fridge is packed, this still has a place.  And I also love that this is silent! I don’t even notice it is there, then I take a whiff of the fridge and I know it is there when I don’t smell anything! It is wonderful that Oransi  donates 5% of their  income to promote student interest in science, engineering and math so they can develop even better cleaning products for future generations. What a wonderful thing to do.

With the technology we have, there is no reason why more companies couldn't do this and benefit from a pool of serious talent.
