Vortex Children’s Toothpaste Review (And a Giveaway)

Do you have trouble getting your child to brush their teeth? Would a cool color changing toothpaste help them, sure it would. I would like to introduce you all to a great company Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste. Here is a little more information about Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste from the website:

Invented by Dr. Howard Wright, DDS, Vortex Color-Changing Toothpaste is a brand-new, patented toothpaste intended to solve children’s poor brushing habits. Simple physics make the red and blue toothpaste combine together to form a vivid purple; by brushing vigorously, kids delight in watching the toothpaste change color. Kids also start to truly enjoy the brushing experience with Vortex Color-Changing Toothpaste, as Vortex contains no choking foaming agent. Recent field testing for Vortex has been overwhelmingly positive—kids love the color-changing element, and parents love the virtual absence of artificial ingredients. Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste is proudly manufactured and packaged in the USA, and has recently become FDA approved. Try Vortex: turning two colors into one bright smile.

Most children brush their teeth for an average of seven seconds. Only seven seconds to clean off bacteria, remove plaque and whiten their smiles. Vortex toothpaste makes brushing more effective by slowly changing color over time, encouraging kids to brush longer. The kaleidoscope of color draws out the brushing experience so that the child will brush three, four, or even five times longer. Vortex works through the simple combination of different colors.

My Review.

Getting my daughter to brush her teeth can be hard. She just hates to brush her teeth, I thought as she got older this would get easier and she would not mind brushing her teeth anymore. Boy was I wrong, she still does not like it. I guess brushing her teeth takes away from her playing time? Who knows what goes through the mind of a child?

Would color changing toothpaste turn her around, and make her start brushing her teeth longer and with the hassle? Hmm? I was very anxious to see if it would.  Well as soon as the box arrived, my daughter asked what it was, so I told her “this is a special color changing toothpaste” her face lit up and she immediately asked if she could brush her teeth right now. I told her we had to have dinner first, then she could brush her teeth.  She was very upset, what is happening here? Crying because you WANT to brush your teeth? What? Who are you and what have you done with my daughter? All kidding aside, she really did want to brush her teeth.

And I loved that she wanted to brush them longer to check out the colors, that is too cool. It is great that the toothpaste has a reduced amount of fluoride, but it is still proven effective. I think it is pretty cool, and I would have loved this toothpaste as a child. She loved the bubblegum grape flavor, I have to say it smelled pretty good.

This was invented by a dentist, so you know it is good for your child.  This encourages your child to brush 5x longer, and that is a great thing.  I have to say I am very happy with this toothpaste, and I would recommend this to any parent, who would like to have your child brush longer, this is a wonderful product.

So my only question is, When are they coming out with Vortex Color Changing Toothpaste for adults? : )

I learned that Vortex does not contain any strange chemicals and there are no foaming agents in Vortex that can cause gum irritation. Traditional toothpastes contain foaming agents that make your toothpaste look like it's working.
